    I tired this recipe different ways, this one sounds like the perfect proportions of ingredients. Most on other "fancy" networks use less condensed milk and make it come out too light and fluffy at the end. No bueno! This is perfect, thank you!

    Mil gracias!!!!

    This is the best flan I've ever tasted! It was a comedy of errors for me making it today, first I spilled 1lb of sugar on the floor, then I forgot to add the eggs and took the mixture out of the cake pan to add them back in, then I burnt my hand on the oven rack! But it was all worth it! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. Xxx

      Yes do it in the bain of marie... u will see... u can do it on the stove, but to me, when i bake like this, its sooo good omg my mouth waters. also bake for about 50-60 minutes and depending on the pan depth it might take longer, but insert a knife and if it comes out clean, its done. and cool it in the fridge before u turn over... omg i want flan too now lol let me know how it goes for u 😘😘😘

      joann jno-pierre no, once you do the caramel it will turn hard, but once you cook the flan, the caramel softens up and it will release SO EASILY.
      you see me on the video with the caramel all around and all the sides. thats why it releases early.
      let me know if u have any problem.

    Hi Sue, I just made your flan using the same Bundt mold. I had a hard time brushing the melted sugar up the tube, it keep getting stuck to my brush and began to get hard very quickly! You made it look so easy....where did I do wrong? I followed your recipe exactly the way you did it. That was the hardest part for me....I hope my flan comes out ok when it's time to flip it😣...any suggestions??

    • @Suexoxo
      @Suexoxo  7 років тому

      Li Lo i think (and i wasnt there to see how u made ut but i will imagine) you let the caramel get too dry or cold. AND YOU HAVE TO WORK FAST. Because once it cools down it turns hard. if you work fast it will stay runny and that is why u can spread it with the brush. if it turns hard, you can put it on the stove for a couple of seconds, so it can melt again and continue brushing. try that AND PLEASE let me know if it worked for u. I really hope it does.

    • @ladylilo6044

      Hazlo con Sue Hi again, OK the first one came out good even though I had a hard time brushing up the sugar, you are right I probably wasn't fast enough. So today I tried it again and it came out better, lol. I dont like it on the actual flan but u can add on top for decoration. Flans are supposed to be creamy and smooth, if u add to the actual flan it will no be smooth.
      What i did, i toasted it on a baking sheet for about 4 minutes (cheking it so it wont burn) and placed on top. Oh it was so yummy. I might make again and make a video. 😘😘👌

    How much water? You mentioned a pot of water

      You boil enough water that when u put the pan in a bain of marie will get to at least half way of the smaller pan (the one where you have the flan). Some times the water evaporates and u need to add a bit more. I just put enough basically. Sorry i cant give an specific amount. Xoxo

      its fine... just use 2 eggs. use a smaller pan or the flan will be very thin. put it in the oven about 40 minutes. basically use everything in half. 😘
