Congratulations to anyone making their solo games successful, takes hard work and dedication, seems good to see indie games slowly take over AAA.

Kinda looks like it too. Thought I accidentally had the video speed up! He’d be a great teacher, not wasting time and getting out information in record pace

Hey Thomas, you have been a huge help with my game's development. I'm taking your FTGD course and it has helped me go from knowing ZERO about code and engines to have a working character controller and enemies. I have a background in design and animation so it's nice to see these skill sets all working together well.

At 23, I'm almost done with my undergrad and I cannot wait to dive into this. It's going to be hard given where I'm from but it's nice to see successful indies I can learn from and look up to and who knows? You might be seeing a great indie game from a third-world dev in a couple years

Great thoughts from Kyle. I've seen the development of his game throughout my time in the GDU server, and I hope it does well. I also strive for no 0% days! That's been the key to finishing and launching my game.

Interesting interview - I also find working in 3D easier, graphically speaking, than 2D. I think it's something to do with spatial imagination brains.

I'm wrestling with this. My heart is in 2D, hand painted art, pixel art and that's the game that I always want to make. But I've always been better at 3D stuff. I went to art school and I pretty much stuck to sculpture. I drove my tutor mad because I did everything I could to avoid concept sketches, I just wanted to dive straight into the final piece 😂

Hey Tomas just wondering in making games is it what you thought it will be, example time, effort, satisfaction etc. If so what would you have done differently? In regards to AI it's just a tool, this will create more competition but can help to speed up
and ssist in marketing or game development . Cheers Perry

I don't love writing code and I definitely don't love debugging. Would you guys hate me if I used AI to generate basic code for me? :) Thomas asking a bunch of dark questions here. You're scaring the guy! LOL
Regarding the "tickets" and "tasks" he mentioned, do you guys have a system to keep you working on those things? Some kind of software? I've always thought I could benefit from having some kind of Daily Achievement thing like a video game that I needed to accomplish for my project to come along.

It is true that with AI there would a lot of bad games BUTT there would a lot more better game bcz Dev's would have more time to work on the other things other than art.
It's so pessimistic that we are only looking at the worst side of AI but it has helped a lot of people, try to understand that.
