Great video. Sam is one of the best. Whatever the situation, the content's brilliant. Apologies to those who like it. I thought that the car was, at best, described as ghastly. No doubt the drive is good. Which it should be for the money. It had all the style of a Greggs sausage roll. Vegan or otherwise.
The really nice thing about EV's is that they don't require the kind of maintenance that an ICE car does, and I remember a lot of people saying that's why they don't like the other RR cars. No oil change, no transmission to deal with. I think that's its biggest selling point over the others.
@@gregorygant4242 $100k? Yeah, I mean this is RR. I was talking about EV's in general. I have a Tesla Model Y and it's only like $12k at most, which I don't ever anticipate having to replace mine unless I keep it for 20 years.
I sat in one of these at Salon Prive last year and I was shocked they left the indicator stalk and gear selector finished in plastic. Every other review of this car, including this one, has shown it is like this in all the cars. Rolls Royce even managed to wrap and stitch leather around them except for the part you actually touch. I'm probably not in any position to complain as I am in no position to buy one but you cant help but feel disappointed that they missed a detail.
Great video Sam, car is sensational, obviously there are glimpses of the Wraith due to its coup styling, the vertical rear lights are sheer class, the whole car is class…. My lottery winning car also…. Yes please.

Never thought I’d want a Roller. ……Until now. I’ve watched loads of videos about the Spectre. This is the best and now I’ve finally decided I want one. However, in common with other “ I want” cars, I’ll never have enough to justify the cost and my life style wouldn’t know what to do with it. Maybe just looking at I and sitting in it would be enough!
Ah yes, the most unbelievable, most spectacular EV released to this day. 🧐💜 This car is a masterclass in how to make the transition to EV. No futuristic or techy nonsense, just do what you have been doing to this day just with batteries instead of with petrol :)
I hope they do a version with a longer wheelbase, that way it will be awesome. 2+2 coupe cars are usually a squeeze in the back so they would have no excuse with a bit more length. I think someone needs to come up with a paint that changes colour as you go, so you start off in a light blue and end up in a serene burgundy or something similar. There’s no real limit to what you can customise on a Rolls Royce, everything has a price as it were.
I used to love watching crazy expensive cars on UA-cam but the older I get (40) the less they appeal to me bc my situation in life is so dour I watch you and others improve and my life goes downhill as time passes.

Great video as always To the car, dream stuff unless you have an enormous bank balance. For daily use. at leas tin London. Size will likely be an issue - its longer and wider than the parking bays. So, even perfectly parked your going to get tickets by the bucket load...... Yup if one can buy the car, one can afford the fines but the hassle involved is likely too much for someone busy enough to be able to afford one.....
There are a bunch of these around Beverly Hills, California. Beautiful car! I like the adventurous plum color! All of the rain in England (just like Seattle, Washington) reminds me NOT to visit there until mid-MAY!! 🤔😎👍

Looks perfect as a EV - only negative I could throw would be the interior, very little change from a 2010 Ghost.. would have thought RR might have updated / been slightly braver.. perhaps look at the Bentley Continental interior as a comparison, far more tech, details & design flare.
One pedal driving is the best thing about EV’s otherwise the power trains are exceedingly well suited to town driving and are otherwise completely characterless in whatever application they’re used. Although the Hyundai N jobby is apparently doing a good job of trying to fix that
I love the car love the colors inside and out, but one this I think they missed was the color of the seatbelts. If your going to be bold with other elements having them purple change the belts as well

Now I know....makes more sense for a press car. I can appreciate the colour but it's pretty lairy. Couldn't believe it when I saw the thumbnail! I would have stopped briefly to say hi. Knowing what this signifies, I instinctively dislike this car. There is no climate crisis or even a consistent warming to incorrectly blame on us. The apparent impetus for electrification is fraud. I’m not going to indulge it.

There’s an exact spec’d one in Monaco I saw couple weeks ago, same interior as well, only difference I saw was it being left hand drive

My ioniq 5 also has a functional grill (at the bottom). It opens and closes depending on whether it wants cooling. Basically the same car as this one.

I enjoyed driving my 2010 Phantom Coupe which was compared to the spectre about 13cm longer but 3 cm narrower... the size would shrink around you

What's amazing is that car reviewers attack EV range, but when they get into a Rolls Royce EV, all the sudden less than 300 miles is OK.

That's a great car, the purple is a great colour also, what was under the bonnet though, you didn't show that.
There's just a big cover directly under the bonnet which hides electric components etc, so no storage or anything like that.
