This format is typically STG and I love it. This and Harry's Garage on a Sunday is as good as it gets! Have a great week Sam and fellow viewers!
Luke too
Totally agree
RetroPower also.
I’d add Tyrell’s classic workshop to that list and you may spot a few of Mr M’s Cars in.
Also a Late Brake Show Barn Find
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate this type of format documenting a trip with over the top editing and quality filming. It may not be what UA-cam is all about today, but imo this is your signature and why I’ve watched your channel for years. Thank you, Sam!
Agreed!
Still baffles me how STG is still a one man show (from what I understand)! Filming, cameras, driving, editing all done by one man..... to this standard? Yeh... 10/10
Yes was thinking the same thing. The editing is outstanding
Gosh, the honesty in the middle about the 296's issues and the honesty at the end about the 750s' positives compared to this car was thankfully refreshing. iv heard way too many shills saying the 296 is "THE BEST" thing you can buy and then they completely ignore the customers complaining about the issues and they ignore the plummeting prices. beautifully filmed and honest to the best of his abilities😂 Well done Sam
750s is a piece of shi... the 296 is another level! Many off my clients have and love it!
@@MarcSob22 everyone is entitled to their opinion mate. its good that your friends like theirs
It's a ferrari, it's meant to have issues
@@MarcSob22 what are you basing that off of? I recently drove the 750s for my channel and thought it was great.
Plummeting prices? I mean anyone who thinks they won't lose any money on it is a moron, the depreciation is normal for the cars. Unless the depreciation is abnormal for some reason
Those morning shots of the 296 GTS gleaming in the sunshine with the sea in the background were absolutely magical. I love the 296. Such a fantastic and stunning supercar.
This is the return to the types of videos that got me hooked on this channel in the first place. Thank you. Beautiful scenery, beautiful car. Now I need another cup of coffee.
The montage at 13:30 is why seen through glass is one of the best car channels on UA-cam 🙌
Have been watching since the 4C POVlog days, and this is the first time I comment on one of your video's I believe because; wow, Sam this video was amazing. You are the only automotive youtuber I watch regularly and this video was an absolute treat!
Always the best stg video format, excellent work as usual Sam 👍
Ahh an old school style vid. Dreamy, I am probably alone in this but the pan around the car in the parking lot made me wish it was a DB12 Volante in the same setting.
An Aston would fit the surroundings there.
This channel is still so underrated after all these years
Love this channel
Brave man taking a car like that to the southwest, super tight roads down here
This video style is such a breath of fresh air in the UA-cam automotive space. Very sincere and considerate delivery of a unique subject in a more human and relaxed style, not the frantic and often over-the-top style that seems to be so prevalent now in YT videos. Great cinematography and great editing, keep it up Sam!
Sam’s drone shots are unreal
In recent weeks I’ve been rewatching some of your old content reminiscing on when I first started watching your channel picking up the 4C. You’re a gem on UA-cam that has consistently delivered incredible content, we’re lucky to have you
Love the 4C!
Why would you buy a £400K Ferrari? It's a great car, but it's alot of money, and alot of depreciation.
Wow the quality of your content levels up
296 curves, at sunset, filmed by drone at the very point of England, wow! That's one of your best shot ever on my honest opinion! That picture at 14:00 in 4K would make the perfect wallpaper.
Lovely edit Sam 👌 At Lizard Point I once locked the keys to my Evora in its boot - cue absolute meltdown (being as far away from anything as you can get!) but luckily managed to get in with the emergency latch. Anyway, this brought back memories (good & bad!) and I’m glad you enjoyed the trip 👍😎
Cinematic quality + awesome story telling is off the charts - One of your best... Congrats
It's impossible to overlook the quality and effort you put into creating this video! Great cinematography and story telling! Thank you!
The car is cool. The production quality on this is just out of this world.
Sunrise on the coast. Triple layer yellow Ferrari convertible. Some of the best coffee in Europe. Good for you Sam, you've done well for yourself. The videos you create are of unbelievable quality, just amazing that you're doing this mostly on your own. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride. Cheers from Michigan.
Great camera shots
Wow. Sam, this has to be the best Video for quite some time from you. Great review, astonishing landscape shots and imo the prettiest car from Ferrari of the last decade.
Alpine a290 next please.
This really was a nice video to watch on a Sunday afternoon Sam. Liked it a lot. Having recently driven the 296 and got a V12 Lusso instead I think its interesting to point out that due to shocking modern Ferrari depreciation you can now have pair of 4 year old hardly used Ferrari's for the price of a new 296. Its bonkers but a last of the line 350k new 2020 Lusso V12 AND a 2019 488 Spider for the same money. These pair of 4 or 5 year olds will deprecate less than the new 296 and give you just as many smiles, if not more. This all makes the nearly used Ferrari market a comparative bargain!
Adore Lizard, Its a home away from home for my wife and I. That road up from the point to the village is absolutely horrifying. You got lucky though, i came face to face with the local Yank fan with a dog knob red Dodge Ram SRT coming the other direction.... I was very glad the Witchball pub was at the end of that road after that experience! 🤣
Side note, in the off season, the Classic cottages/AirBnB that are around that area are stunning for a quiet family get away but still with lots to do. Dont take a Ferrari to Cadgwith though unless you have cameras rolling and Tony is with you. One word.... STRESS! 🤣
Very cool to see you around Dartmoor. Those roads are 15 minute drive from where I live and I adore them. Would definitely like to see more adventures around the area. 👍☕️
Hey Sam.
On the subject of the battery and range.
If you first preheat the cooling water with the engine and thus bring the battery up to temperature, the range is much higher! Almost double with mine!
Gorgeous scenery and some amazing camera work - well done. Classic STG video, look forward to them each week!
Sam, I'm not a fan of the car, but the format and quality (most of all) of this video wouldn't let me stop watching 😅 - Top work again!
Sam your videography is on point! Love your content, keep it up mate 👍
Sam, what a great video about this wonderful car. I love the way you create your videos and this well arranged symbiosis of impressions and music. Can’t wait to new stuff evvery sunday. Please go on this way! Tobias from Germany
Most shocking thing about this video is driving such a distance for that coffee and then adding oat milk 😳😉
Agreed! And the second most shocking thing were the fabric choices in the overnight stay; an essay in flowerage….
@@550panerai5 😂
Absolutely agree! Why oh why do that to supposedly the best coffee...? Just turned it in to minging slop. What next Soy milk... Disturbing.
Love this video, I will visit Origin in Porthleven pretty soon. I wish I could borrow a 296, perhaps I’ll pop into Carrs Ferrari and see what they say.
Classic STG video on a glorious autumnal Sunday afternoon. We love to see it. Thank you!
You get me ready for the lazy sunday with all the high tier cinematic scenes you shoot Sam! Veteran subscriber here!
What an amazing video Sam! Love it so much 🤌🏻. You and Harry's garage for a weekend is just perfection.
Beautiful film, those shots of the cliffs & waters edge were gorgeous. This is the type of stuff we love from STG!
Don’t often comment but this is the sort of video I love. Great cinematography/editing etc. Thank you 👍
What a beautiful video documenting this trip. Thank you Sam!
Great video Sam, shot in my home county so real love for this film, definitely have to check out the coffee shop very soon. Pretty honest review, as a lucky owner of a GTS agree with most of it.
The haptic controls get better with time we found especially on a longer road trip, after a week it just becomes easier as you get used to them, but agree a bit of a pain.
Great Sunday viewing at our favourite coffee shop in La Cala Spain, if you're here La Canasta serves great coffee and cake. 😎🏁
Love how you made a cold autumn couple of days in England pop with wonderful videography and a cracking story, some how I seem to want a Peroni now😂
Amazing video Sam! Very enjoyable to watch, solid and honest review and great videography! Yes YT will probably "bury" it but I really hope you can bang out videos in this style every now and then.. Looking forward to the electric Macan video!
Beautiful video Sam. In addition to the car review aspect, top notch image capture and editing stuff. Congrats!
It is time for UA-cam awards for best cinematography. In addition to his great (and honest) car reviews, I nominate Sam for an award for all of his beautiful videos.
Amazing video as always! It was cool to see you coming the other way in Helston on Tuesday morning whilst I was having a driving lesson. My instructor was slightly confused by the hi-pitched noises I made as I realised it was you! Keep up the top notch content as always :)
I can see a lot of work went into capturing the scenes Sam and you made it look effortless, Well done looks beautiful!
Sam, that is beautifully filmed and edited with some discreet music that makes it feel 'TV professional' - fabulous.
Kudos for not becoming complacent. The production value of your videos just keeps getting better and better. Keep it up! 1M subs is near!!!
This video is superb Sam! One my highlights from your videos from this year!
Please keep up the superb work!
Bravo Sam! It's such a great video. Keep doing what you love to do, and everyone will follow!
One of my favourite places in the world and yes the coffee is great. Fab video and nice car. Keep up the good work Sam!
Brilliant Cinematics !! Only found in STG videos 👌🏼
u know u r getting old when u like quite cars and creeping away from home lol!!!
Another fantastic production Sam and just test drove a new 296 myself: I think your review is spot on.
Hi Sam, Cornwall local and long term subscriber here, I’m sure I saw you pass me on the A30 in the 296
Wow great video Sam, Really enjoyed watching this 🙌🏽
Mr Through Glass, the cinematography on this one is amongst your very best. Outstanding
Best cinematography! Great job and thank you for putting in such effort.
The montage and music at 13:30 is just great! Love your shots, Sam!
296GTS is one of the best-looking new cars out there and this spec is pretty much perfect in my eyes, the dark blue goes so well with the bright outside colors. Pity about them failing the digital tech so bad, but I'm not in a position to buy one anyway so.
Yep - The worst steeringwheel in the history of Ferrari. Used to make som of the best ones ever... Sam you said it right - super overcomplicated. The 812 superfast steeringwheel was amazing. Modern but still keeping the iconic red starter button as an ACTUAL button!
I love this type of video. I just did a 220 mile round trip for BBQ here in Blue Ridge Mountains in the US in my 911. I wanted to try another BBQ place and the drive there and back - chefs kiss. Then I got home and get to see the UK version of my day.
bruh how is this not 100K plus , Sam time you promote your videos on Reddit, forums and TikTok man. you the best
Amazing edit. Amazing content. Another great piece of UA-cam car content. Congrats, Sam!
What a perfect way to start the Sunday☕️🏎️🤌🏼. Thank you Sam!
Great video Sam! apple car play making you lose the famous rev counter is a real issue - thankfully on the roma apple car play is on the centre screen and you get to enjoy the rev counter
Another great video Sam, I think this is your signature format that I got hooked to all those years ago! 🙌🏼
Great filming and format … thank you … some great impressions, especially i am too cheap to spend the money on a Ferrari even though i love the brand and sportscars in general … a conundrum of today, comparatively speaking the really exiting cars were significantly more affordable in the 90s and 2000s, certainly contributing to seeing them less on the streets
Long drives on a great car plus a good coffee-really the type of combo we’re drooling at! 🙌🏼
Great cinematic work Sam, Can’t wait for the special version of the 296. Love from Australia 🇦🇺
Hope that every automaker understand to give cars whith you and you get lots of sponsordeals, because these videos are top🎉
Okay, the shot at 13:30 dropped my jaw, it's amazing! Keep it up!
Excellent review Sam, you're editing and visuals are just first class, as for the 296...... ridiculous price but as you say....if you got it!
Fantastic edit Sam, drone usage 👏🏻👌🏻
Great scenic shots with the drone.
What a lovely sweet leafy video. Makes me want to do that trip myself!
I enjoy all your videos but sometimes you just outdo yourself. This is brilliant. Amazing job!
3:55transformer part😎. Thatswhat im talkin bout. That car is so delicious to drive. Lookin like parmesan. Every moment you drive i bet it felt like heaven. Isnt it.☺️
stunning car and stunning views of the coastline 👍
I think that v6 sounds so sweet! Can only imagine how it sounds from the drivers seat 😁
Congrats on a superb video. So well done.
Beautiful video. You are so talented. Keep up the great work
Top notch cinematography and storytelling, as always Sam! Beautifully shot, and you hardly look poisoned! 😂
Fabulous film quality and production. Well done Sam.
Ha! Great shot of the Ferrari pulling in as you close the top. Love the video!
Awesome video as always and great choice of music, I've been a yellow card fan since I saw them live in Leeds around 15 years ago!
Sam, beautiful video, I can't help but think that the 296 would be a better car without the hybrid system and 150lbs lighter. As for coffee, I live in Costa Rica, come try our coffee. Great place to get a used defender and go on an adventure with Tony
Epic video Sam, incredible drone shots too 👌
Love this format & your honest critique. Kindest regards, Richard U.K
Sam + road trip = pop corn/can of coke and pure entertainment
That parking sensor chime at the beginning would drive me nuts
Yep, it’s for people who can’t drive… it’s really sad seeing these features in what is supposed to be a drivers car.
I'm also a one man show and I feel your pain on the UA-cam struggle. Luckily I monetize in other ways and make a good living on Suppressed Fest and my other businesses but dammit if UA-cam only wants senseless, clickbait garbage these days. I refuse to do it and I'm happy you are as well. Love the channel and have been enjoying it for years!
Fantastic filming Sam, superb in your style!
Excellent video, great work Sam!
These coastal shots is absolutely gorgeous 🔥💚
Fantastic video Sam!! Truly a Sunday special 👏🏻
Watching this while sipping an espresso from my new espresso machine. Life is good!
Fantastic video Sam. Really enjoyed this. 🙏👌👍
What a fantastic video! Love this slightly „OG“ vibe
Great cinematography in this vid Sam!
