I had two of these in the past. I fished the dead mice out with a pencil and flushed them down the toilet, and reused the trap. What a waste to throw it out! Problem with reusing the trap is the metal parts rust quicker. From all the blood or the water used to wash the trap. I probably used both like 3 times each before they were rendered useless.
The Lady Lotus you can re-use the trap he said those who dont wanna reuse it can dispose of it becuase of those who dont wanna see a dead rat can jist check the bar saying ("rat cuaght")
But, CAN you pull down the lever, 'give it a li'l flip', and re-use it? Or would you need the rigor mortis to settle down before the little bugger would fit back through the hole?

I like that there's tactile notifiers on the trap so you can tell if the trap worked or not without looking at it, or for those with vision impairment.

Mr Woods: Are you able to demonstrate pathway traps such as snare ramps, and proper use of snares in general, as well as trying out expedient wire traps like guitar wire and solid core copper wire? Grey tree squirrels are ravaging my garden and short of just sitting out there with an air rifle, (which is of questionable legality and sanity considering my neighborhood) I'm at wits end in figuring out how to deal with them.
Here's what I want to see: a mouse-scale recreation of the climactic scene from "Predator", where the mouse tries to lure the rat into the trap, but the rat figures it out and goes around, but doesn't realize he's standing under the counterweight. Then, the crafty mouse kicks out the trigger and jumps aside, causing the counterweight to fall on and crush the nasty rat. Then, the equally crafty, dying rat sets the timer on its little rat nuke, and the mouse goes diving for its life as the nuke goes off.
They might actually be the same trap. Tomcat is owned by the Scotts Miracle Gro company who also has the distribution rights to SCJohnson which includes Raid. In order to carry the same item in different stores they might have to do it under a different brand so as not to tick off the customer.
I think I have an idea for catching rats with the rolling log trap. Try getting a big plastic container/tub or something wide so they can’t hang on to the sides and see what that does when u fill it up with water

Good to see a trap that works as advertised, but I am really peeved that it is being sold as a one time use and disposal. All that plastic and packaging for two single use traps, two dead mice and off to landfill. Anyone want to hazard a guess as to the carbon footprint of these traps?
Could you do a video on fine tuning the traditional snap trap? One can make those much more effective by adjusting the retention bar tab and maybe your viewers would like to see how to do it.
This is a trap you can reuse. I have the exact same trap and it killed alot of mice. All you have to do is pull to lever down to set and flick the dead mouse into the trash can, and then the trap is ready to be reused!!. I like this trap because it is a kill trap that is safe around kids and animals

I would disagree about being a good trap. Yes it works, but throwing away more plastic is not what a responsible person does. If its bio degradable how many years 20, 50 100?

You can reuse it, just reset the trap and shake it to get the mouse out.

You can just push the lever down and shake the dead mouse out in the trash and reuse the trap.
Once you shake the dead mouse out, you give it a little flip.
