I can tell you, as a practitioner of this art for over a decade, that anyone is capable of doing this if they are willing to practice and learn. I understand that for ordinary people this seems impressive, but for the technical level that beatbox has reached today, what it did is something extremely simple. Either way, he is a highly respected legend in our culture.
That's like saying Grandmaster Flash and "The Message" was trash. Just cuz it's gotten more evolved with time doesn't mean what it started out as is bad either. Is it the best in the world? No, but it did Come from his era, so that's worth respecting
