Chicken or Meat of your choice
Shallot - 1-2 depending on size
Onion - 1/2 of a Medium
1/2tsp - Aniseed
2 - Bay Leaves
1tbsp - Rosemary
2 - Garlic Cloves or to your taste

Palm nut soup is one of my favorite soups, fufui on sundays, semi dry gari with the soup over it on monday by Tuesday and Wednesday the soup is thickened I will have it with rice or banku... but I dont like washing the pots back in the days when my mom cook palm nut soup hahaha.. As a Liberian, palm butter is a staple soup especially the region I was born. We eat it with fufu, rice or boiled cassava but we make it little thicker 😋
When it's too thick it's called stew.
