Coming along nicely. I bet it’s lots quieter in there without Sarah making her songs. Angel zone there’s a name for the shop. I think someone beat me to Angel cave. Have a good night
Funny story, that has happened to me already lol. Funny story pt2 is the steering wheel puller bolts broke inside the steering wheel bolt holes. So it ended up coming out with the angle grinder. Thanks !!
I'm really enjoying this build. Brings back memories and the learning curve that came with it. Replaced coils on my 66 Pontiac Parisienne complete with side skirts ...4 door hardtop 283 2 bbl. 2 speed powerglide tranny. Car was only 4 years old.
As you began cutting all I could hear in my head was SlipKnot 😂 “ Cut cut cut me up and…. 🎵🎵🎵 “ I would love to see you and Sarah go head to head when your builds are finished . Now that would be 🔥
Nice to have your own shop that isn't full of bodywork dust😃. I like the approach this is how I do it, though the springs coming out was less dramatic than I was expecting.🤣
I laughed so hard at your shock removal! I didn’t realize I needed that. I saw the 4 wheel drive ‘65 Mustang today at Tampa Bay Automobile Museum. It’s awesome. Thanks for this.👍
"Cut my front end in to pieces, this is my 3rd Po-nee!" Impressive, Rookie Pilot. Never seen a Mustang II front end build install, other than replacing parts on a Mustang II. Not the same as this! I am not a mechanic, merely a parts changer. I have installed engines, transmissions, interiors, sound systems, water pumps, etc. This is something I always wanted to do, Life just got in the way. Great video! Gonna watch this channel blow up!
your editing is really great! Loving the work - but most especially, your authenticity in showing us how excited and happy you are to be doing something you've never done before! Always encouraging to me. Wish there was a video all the time, but i can be patient. At least I see you on Sarah's channel in between your uploads! :P
Thanks so much Nik! I love making these videos, its so nice to hear you want more frequency. I try to fit in as much time after im done working with sarah to make my own videos, im now fully set up at my shop and hopefully will be posting more often!
Looking good....i dig your cut-off music.... Welcome to. Stang 51 area...yes most of your subscribers will get the duel reference....lol...have a great weekend...
Good video, sir! Lots of magic going on in that shop, with the disappearing fenders and hair! 😁 Glad to see you wearing hearing protection. So many UA-camrs don't wear any...I like listening to my tunes at full range till I'm old. But that's me.
I had a '66 Mustang that needed the driver's side shock tower removed and replaced. I drilled out Every. Single. Spot. Weld. I like your way much better. I also tried to remove the steering wheel without a puller. I was successful, but my nose paid the price. Have fun and keep up the great work.
Sharp haircut my man looks ace . Building my shed ready for the winter in the uk 24ft/21ft big enough for a couple of projects and a daily. Loving the content JX
First video of yours I have seen. I've got a 68 coupe I am working on restoring with my son. Never done a resto before so I'll be checking in from time to time to see what I can learn from your channel. Step on is full floor pan replacement and rear 1/4 panel. 😬
Dear A.R.P. 👍👌👏 I simply love to see you having fun. Congrats again for having your own shop... excuse me... stable! 😁 ;-) 2) Please don't use an angle grinder without the spark protection. If a piece of a broken cutting disc will fly off, it can easily turn into an "Angel grinder"! And we definitely don't want to see you getting hurt. Additionally: As a utuber doing things in public, you have a much bigger responsibility. A lot of people will see you as a kind of role model and simply copy your behaviour. A ton of utubers simply don't realise this fact. Thanks in advance for consideration. 3) I'm pretty impressed about all the modifications you do on the front of the car (although it already had disc brakes). I'm eagerly looking forward to watch the next part. As always: Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health in particular. Post Scriptum: I tried very hard to resist but I simply couldn't help to comment the following: I always wondered why you wear a baseball cap all the time (and even the other way around). But after showing us your fresh haircut (what I would rather call a pretty heavy accident), I now exactly know why! 😁😁 ;-) Just joking... although.... 😁 ;-)
I'm jealous you can actually get work done on the Mustang. I've been struggling to fined a place to build my project car. A few years ago I purchased an almost identical front suspension kit for my 1970 2dr Ford Maverick coupe. Unfortunately in Vancouver BC were I live shop space is insanely expensive. It's like paying a house mortgage. The average home price here is over a million dollars. Ok I'm done complaining. Looking forward to seeing more progress on the Mustang 👍
Great video. It's very will put together and I think you do a great job explaining the steps you are doing. Glad you have been able to find yet another Mustang to restore!! Also great pick for the shop name. Keep up the great work I can't wait to see this done!
Hey AFC, Never had my own shop, but I can remember when I bought my house and I had my very own garage. That was an awesome feeling as well and those Pitman arms can be a real bitch. That’s probably one of the few things that is still original to the car they usually don’t need to be replaced unlike Tire rods, and the idler arm. The last Pitman arm I removed was on there so tight that when I popped it sounded like a gunshot. Looking forward to the build have a great one.👍
I might have to try out your method on removing fenders! Let’s see if it’s as easy 😂 also love your videos and I’m always looking forward to the next! 🎉❤ so proud of you.
I myself bought me a low buck 40 amp plasmacutter, that works just fine. If you think how much money you spent on cutting discs, it pays for itself. Now recently I saw a plasmacutter(down here in Europe) with a built in compressor for 200 Euros, so even if you don't have a decent air compressor, there's options. Keep up the good work young man!
I'm learning a lot, thanks for sharing, "All along the shock tower" hmm, sounds like I have heard that somewhere before. If you want to sell the 150 pants let me know. Cheers!
@@rookie__pilot I actually ended up buying a 66 Mustang project which comes with drum brakes so the disk brake setup would work. Arizona is far but let me see how much UPS ground would cost. The main part I need for the 66 is the quarter panel driver side rear

Leave the nut holding the steering wheel on a few turns that way when you pull on it it won’t meet your face when it comes off. Great video.

Great idea 💡 😂
The Stable! I like that!.... Good job!......LOL!---->>> Get Sarah n tuned to wear that shinny spring on her neck... LOL!
It actually looks safer than the compressor tool way lol 😊
I think so aswell lol
Yeah, it looks like that's the way to do it.
Nice to have your own shop that isn't full of bodywork dust😃. I like the approach this is how I do it, though the springs coming out was less dramatic than I was expecting.🤣
Not yet atleast lol. And me too i wanted something a bit more explosive 😂
Well done AFC Stable!!
🤘🏼

Haha! Glad you had a laugh! Id love to check that museum out one day👍🏻
I love these kind of mods so can't wait to see how you do it. Looking forward to the progress.
You and me both!

Anything original and even old school aftermarket is worth passing on to another.
Great video 👍🏼

Thanks Randy! Ive listed them for sale a couple times but now im starting to grow attached to them lol
Looking good. Maybe weigh everything you take out compared to what you’re installing, to see how much weight saving.
Thats a great idea!
LMAO 😂 removing coil springs in the not how too way🙌🙌💞💯 be careful and stay safe👃
Haha definitely my favorite way😂
Pitman notoriously stubborn. Cut cut cut. 🎉
Its going to meet the cutoff wheel if it doesnt do what i say lol
nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dude cake
Thanks frank!
@@rookie__pilot love your work
I was expecting those springs to go flying across the shop and embed themselves in the wall after all the safety precautions I've heard.
Thats what i was expecting also 😂
Nice video
I could use those front disc brakes!
Message me on instagram!
did you get rid of the 5 lug disc brakes set up?
Still have the spindles and brakes
omg my 68 project is missing all the parts you took off - can I pick them up? Thank you so much
assuming you're less than 150 miles from LA area
Not sure what will fit from these parts, most likely the spindles. Im in southern az

It's not stupid if it works😂
You got that right Frank!
You could always put it back later
Right😂
So there's still room for my pony in your stable
Yessir!
If you will leave the steering wheel nut on a few threads, the wheel won't punch you. ;)
Lol yes!
does this mean sarah has to edit your videos !!
Lol, i wish!
Where is the your tatooed lady?
Damn sure a amateur. All you have to do is start the nut back on and then pull on steering wheeland wiggle the wheel side to side.
