- For our #3 1965 mustang we need to box/notch the frame in order to install our Mustang ii kit from speedway. An intense process that will yield great benefits.

My grandfather would compliment those welds. There is no higher praise. Great project!👍
Thats one hell of a compliment! Thanks a lot Bob!
As a welder, I gotta say those are some really nice welds!
Thank you!
I can relate to the socks getting the holes from welding. I now use leather boots whenever I plan to weld on the mustang hahaha
Nice beads boy, not to bad at all!
Thanks!
Says, "I'm not a welder... don't make fun of my welds.." Then proceeds to lay down super clean beads!! Nicely done Angel!!
Much appreciated! Thanks!
Nice work Mate! Keep it up!
Thanks Graem!!
🎉 dude you dropped some dimes on them welds 😮 awesome.
Thanks kirk!!
Hay A.F.C. Nothing wrong with those welds and the lighting looks good in the shop or should I say stable. have a great one as always.
Thanks John! Yes the lighting is surprisingly good here at the stable!
Those are some pretty good welds!
You say your not a welder by trade, well your work is superb. That chassis section will be stronger than the factory original. Best wishes from a rainy wet England. 😊
Thanks Adam! Cheers from the dry heat of AZ!
A brilliant job, I think working with Sarah has rubbed off on you
Seeing you use cutting oil to save the bit when drilling out those spot welds made my day.
Haha! Id rather not have to buy more bits
Nice work! Good timing too, I am getting ready to do this to my 65 👍
Hell yeah!
Your welds look good, you got skills 👌
Thanks 👍
You are the number one welder, great to see young felahs like you restoring old timers. l got a motor for that car l selling here in Au,struggling to sell it because there is not many 1960s Mustangs here. Recently l bought a plasma cutter and that makes light work cutting chassis frames, you just got have a steady hand and cutting guides.
Thanks Greg! Hope i sells soon, i also am in need of a plasma cutter with all this metal needing cut
great work there. hungry for more..
Thanks! Just waiting for a day off so i can finish the next video!
Anything worth doing, is worth doing right. Your efforts are meeting that worth. Classy, my man.
Well said Nik!
So much work. Thanks for sharing your journey
sweet props to your donors.
Huge props!
Boy for not being a welder those welds look pretty good. Love the artwork she did a very nice job on those! That upgraded suspension will serve you well hopefully. That’s gonna be a sweet stand when done. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Darren! Hopefully i can drive her soon enough
Your welds are really good 👍🏽
thanks!!
👍
I can hear that wood chisel screaming all the way over here in NJ. lol
Lol, its my “beater” chisel 😂
just started the same process life saver
You did okay with the last name.....I hope you didn't hurt yourself. This may help.................War-ka-vitch. You lay down a nice bead
of weld.........I'm most certainly not an expert. Are we going to get a review of Big Red?
I will get it right next time! Thanks so much Gary, i unfortunately cannot review big red shes now somewhere in Georgia
Good job! Attention to detail is key.
Thanks!
Your doing good, keep on doing what your doing 👍👍👍😎😎😎kudos
Thanks Tom! 🤘🏼😎
YEAAAAH SHOW THAT BOX FRAME HOW ITS DONE 😂🥊
HAHAHA
@@rookie__pilot Also appreciate you for showing the paintings I made you love!!! I still need to paint one of lil red :') 💓💓
@@karenmailenny so you're the infamous girlfriend. You do very nice artwork. You did justice to Little Blue and to Big Red.
@@asarand Hi Wayne, thank you so much! :)
Your fabrications skills are sick. I enjoyed this video a lot.
Thanks david! I learned a lot
pretty good welds for "not a welder"
Thanks Alex!
Angel needs a plasma torch!
Yessir!
Every little bit makes an amazing build.
That is right, thank you sir!
👍👊
🤙🏻🤙🏻
Thanks!
Huge thanks Micah!
I'm not a welder by trade either, but I can tell you that those beads look better than any that I ever laid down.
You have a very awesome girlfriend. She has a good eye for art.
Thanks Wayne! She is very talented!
Nothing to it but to do it. Amazing video Angel Hot Foot Cake
Love that saying! Thanks!
Great work and really neat welding, came across from Sarah's channel and looking forward to how the Mustang project comes along 👍
Thanks for the support David!
Keep up the grind! You will smash it. Thank you for bringing some incredible content.
Thanks Izak!
Good welding. What is the welder you’re using?
I also like to do a bit, then wait. A bit is to let the work cool, but more importantly, I’m trying to keep within the duty cycle of my welder. Many only have a 30% duty cycle, so you should only weld 3 minutes out of every 10.
I’m enjoying this series.
Im using an eastwood Mig 135, i hadnt even thought about duty cycles, i will look into the specs of it to make sure i dont over heat it ! Thanks bob!
as for your welds, I've seen much worse, you're doing good
Thanks!
2 questions !...what is that on your chin ?...angel fluff cake?...and you do know that is a wood work chisel?...Love your work, both here and with that other Nut case! 😁❤
Haha! Its attached with velcro lol. And now i know lol😂
Angel keeps saying we....and I keep looking for Sarah.
Lol yes, by we i mean you and me 😂
If you worked with animals, you'd be Angel Zoo Cake
Yes, yes i would!
I see Sarah Queen of trashing camera's has taught you well.🤣
😂
Excellent work as always 👍
Thanks!
When do you sleep?! Keep up all the good work you do.
Thanks Greg! 🦉🦉
do you ever find whenever your doing a job you go darn I wish I had that tool. You know when your laying on your back welding and in the back of your mind your thinking one day one day I'll own me a Rotisserie
Every single day !
I was thinking (too late) if it was me I would have drilled a number of1/4 " holes along the flats and welded some rosettes
😎🍺👍🇦🇺
😎🦉📦🤘🏼
doing the same thing on my 70 .thinking down the road a bit what are you plans for hooking up the steering shaft from the column to the rack n peanut steering gear.
Funny you mention that, in our latest video we run into that issue. I have yet to figure it out but not far from it
How do you get time to do all this while working with Sarah!!! Keep it coming man
Sometimes im a night owl 🦉 thanks Garry!
Do you remember how thick the frame plates are?
1/4 in!
@@rookie__pilot holy cow. Thanks!
Pic/video of the current state of the Fastback?? 🤔
Great question! Ive been trying to reach the new owner but he does not respond 😤
8:38 hi brother how did you mark the line?
Whats up man! I used a sharpie!
Hello from Belgium. Remark : you are holding the chissel the wrong way. Always hold the flat side to the metal that has to be removed. You way has the chance you cut into the good metal . My 2 eurocents.
Thank you for the tip! Cheers from AZ 👍🏻
What kit is that? Manufacturer?
Mustang II IFS Kit by speedway! I have a full unboxing on the channel
What was that measurement again? Lol
24 and something 😂
Just my "unprofessional opinion" but I'd use a better chisel because it looks like ur using a wooden chisel . You'd be surprised a difference it makes but like I said I'm no professional at all only my opinion . Progress looks great tho , great job !
Thanks! Those are my “beater” chisels. But someone sent us a really good pair of sheet metal ones we will be using!
Air chisel
