Thanks for taking the time to do the video - One thing to look at for anyone considering ANY scan tool is the UPDATE PRICE after the FREE updates has ended - especially if you are just DIY - Sometimes it is nearly the price of the scanner !! Some of the subscriptions on the higher end tools are eye watering - probably why garages charge so much for a diagnostic read !!
I guess that will just need a reset and relearn after that... Many will most likely do that, I clouding this one, or the other one I reviewed some time ago... If you just need it for one time use, you might be better to ask someone to do it for you... If you are looking at buying a tool, that's different... 👍👍👍
@@LMAutoRepairs Thanks for replying 🫸🏻🫷🏻 i guess i just want a good obd reader that can clear basic service on lill frenchy,, our newest member in the family 😊 Im used to OBDeleven (yes im a v.a.g lad 😎) with longcoding, adaptations e.t.c,, guess im spoiled 😜
I do giggle at the 5k scanners. 20 quid gets you the Daddy version. :-) It's a dangerous market to buy into without a bit of knowledge. Stay well & thanks for the vids.
@jamesward5721 Well... that's true to a certain extent... Unfortunately 20 quid doesn't get you too far if you want to do it at a more professional level... But that's a completely different discussion... 👍👍👍
No idea why some of these Chinese tools use tacky roulette sounds and animations for finding the VIN. I'm looking for a tool at the moment but considering my household consists of BMWs and Vauxhalls it's a hard pass from me.
Hardware wise the scanner is OK. But software-wise, all Launch scanners suck big time. The software is not polished like Autel's is. Many spelling errors too. You get what you pay for. The subscription is insanely high.

Get MDI and ICOM...
You can't go wrong if you just need them for those two brands...
👍👍👍
It's really a bad practice to select so many things to monitor. You're overloading the processor and the update time will be very extended.
True... sometimes you need it, though...
Just testing the tool anyway...
👍👍👍
Can it do CAS coding on a F11 to disable S/S?
I will check next time I have one...
Although I am still using it, haven't came across one...
👍👍👍

This tool is mining in the background like wtf?
Also the battery is not as advertised.
I returned mine.
No link for french follower ? 😊
I guess you can use the UK one...
👍👍👍
Stand still I am getting sea sick 😅

I have tried Topdon in the past, and similar to this one to be honest...
👍👍👍
I think topdon is uses launch software
