When Elon Musk's team threw a metal ball at them, a demonstration intended to show the strength of the windows on Tesla's first pickup truck went wrong.
I've done the same test with a standard window, and the metal ball didn't scratch the glass!
How hard is a standard window compared to the Tesla Cybertruck window?
In this video, I've tested how hard is a lateral window from a VW Golf.
I threw in the glass with a 0.5kg metal ball in the first test - the test passed successfully.
In the second test, I hit the window with a 1.25 kg hammer - test passed successfully.
In the last test, I hit the window with a 4 kg hammer, and the window broke instantly.
After I broke the normal window, I decided to make the new window indestructible, adding one the exterior a 4mil Safety film from Armolan and on the interior a 1.5mil Film Hp Eldorado from Armolan. This is how you make Armor Glass.
The result was awesome. The window didn't break after I hit him repeatedly with a 4 kg hammer and a 0.5kg metal ball.
I found out that the side windows are really hard to break.
The metal ball didn't even scratch the glass; my window faced a 4 kg hammer.

Shorted electronics is one thing but the main problem why it is hard to roll down the window is due to the pressure against the window from the water outside. If your car has these type of windows, it is not bad idea to have a glass breaker hammer which has a pointed tip.

Wow that’s actually quite a surprise. I had no idea that even regular window glass was that strong. They always make it look so much more flimsy in the movies.
Daniel Whyatt plate/flat glass has much less integrity than curved glass. with that being said, hitting a window in four corner with something small and sharp with much less force than he used will completely shatter it. it all depends what you hit it with and where you hit it at. (i.e. its feasible that a guy in a movie could softly hit the corner of a window with a small rock and shatter it. or hit the corner with his hand and shatter it)

This test is legit and makes me understand better how lucky I was in my VW 337 a few years ago. I cut someone off accidentally and at the light he got out and started taking a crow bar to my drivers side window. Whack after whack he got nowhere. He got frustrated started taking it out on the B-Pillar which did do some damage, but I made it out unscathed.
