- Ultimate Durability Test! We filled our tires with liquid nitrogen and tested them on a REAL CAR!
What happens if you fill all four tires with liquid nitrogen? Will they freeze instantly and pop or can you still drive on four wheels that are completely frozen? (And for how long?)
Also we mounted a GoPro inside the tire to see what’s going on inside the wheel.

That is some real Garage 54 kinda stuff! Maybe try winter tires or tires designed for space. If they didn't freeze and crack, they would have blown by over pressure. Good vid. I enjoyed watching. Edit: Taking nitrogen filled to a whole different level. Lol.

instructions unclear, accidently filled the engine with liquid nitrogen.
I test drove a car whose tires claimed to be filled with nitrogen. They didn’t say whether or not it was liquid nitrogen
I know Bugatti Veyrons tyres are filled with Nitrogen because it is considered more stable than air - obviously not liquid Nitrogen though….
Liquid nitrogen is used to recover steel from rubber vulcanized to steel components.

Ciekawe co by było gdyby zalać i nie jeździć. Czy temperatura by zniszczyła opony? Czy wzrost ciśnienia przy wzroście temperatury azotu nie rozsadził by opony.
W tym teście ewidentnie guma stwardniała i jazda na takiej oponie spowodowała popękanie.

should have masked the wheels before spray painting the sidewalls for the frost effect. You can see the overspray 🤦♂️
Do you not understand conduction ? That was frost on the rims just like the frosted tires.
@@leadboots72 I do understand conduction. frost doesn’t look like spray paint overspray. Also it wouldn’t persist well after the tire was destroyed and the LN2 escaped. and The volume of LN2 as shown doesn’t ever touch the rim. and rubber tires themselves, being a good thermal insulator, wouldn’t completely frost up to the rim (and beyond) unless they were entirely filled and left to freeze on a humid day. And they weren’t. And the frost on the tread would immediately disappear when driven. Paint doesn’t rub off that easily.
It was a clever cheap trick for cinematic effect.
