I don't think this was a fair comparison for a general comparison since they both go to special schools. Most schools in Korea wear uniforms and I'd say the US public school differs in the area you go to school to due to funding. I also think they should have chosen people in the same grade. It's obvious that the Korean girl being senior will have much more intense study sessions since they are prepping for college.

@@gregnixon1296 That’s not true, going to school is part of childhood/teenage hood, but it shouldn’t be our only purpose, young people should have the time for themselves and not just live for school. Our purpose as young people is to learn and mature, school can help with that, but we can’t live just for the sake of our academic education. Actually my school changed the way they taught us thanks to the pandemic, homework was almost completely eradicated and they are encouraging us to spend time in stuff we enjoy and it actually helped the way we learn quite a lot, teachers now are more interested in making everything clear for everyone in the classroom and my class average went up, even if we were one of the highest to begin with.
So that truth you say is not real anymore, our purpose as students should be enjoying our young years, not living to the expectations of a broken system.

bro why would they get a girl that goes to an art school. none of it was relatable to a typical public school
am i the only one who wanted them to do more ‘normal’ high schools so there would be more of a fair comparison. Or have both schools be art schools or both be boarding schools
ikr
Since Darcie (korean girl) is already a youtuber,no wonder she's really great at vlogging and filming
Her clips are interesting, had more points, systematic, entertaining, detailed, clearer and had better edit
I dont think the American school didn't really showcase an American school, it was an *art* school.
Anon FX darcie is also from foreign language school in korea...
When the student from Korea did a better job at recording her day then the girl who likes to film 💀
They should put an actual American public school because it will be more accurate when comparing.
😐
@@TTE3 ??
So truee man
darcie actually owns a youtube account where she does vlogging type of stuff so thats why shes able to film better. the other girl (forgot her name) films short films so thats why she isn’t good at vlogging.
I wish the American girl wouldnt have been from L.A. cuz of course their lunch and classes are gonna be good. They should've had a public school student from somewhere else ngl.
Thorne_101_ Her lunch wasn’t at school. She went off campus to go get lunch somewhere else. Rewatch the clips
Camille Elasky she is saying a student that was attending public school. So a student who would of had school lunch. 😊
Not every school in la is good she just goes to an art school (which is noot accurate for a normal hs)
Like Chicago

She got a heating pad and probably some anti-acid while all we get is a bag of melty ice.
They don't even give us that anymore
Lol I'm in the USA and I get a heating pad too
Because in Korea, everything students need to do is study and study, they don't even don't have to do the chores as their parents wants them only focus on studying, that is why you will be provided mostly with everything, like you see heat packs or vitamins drinks ...
Nurses in South Korea: Here I will give you medication to feel better!

Idk but the American school here does not seem typical at all. She did say it’s an art school, which means it’s not even a normal high school. Most of the things she did in her school are not allowed in normal high schools. They are both so pretty tho!
the asian girl wasnt in a typical korean school too!

South Korea’s school sounds so exhausting
They have really high standards in Korea so I assume so

@@sanjanas9338
No, an actual American school is different.
Sanzz TV it's an art school, so no it's not regular lol
I don't think this was a fair comparison for a general comparison since they both go to special schools. Most schools in Korea wear uniforms and I'd say the US public school differs in the area you go to school to due to funding. I also think they should have chosen people in the same grade. It's obvious that the Korean girl being senior will have much more intense study sessions since they are prepping for college.
Bruh, Korean students doesn't get much sleep
They don't. :((

As a Korean myself, Darcie's school is not the most typical school in Korea
Jasmine Lee true
Yes
im a highschooler in america and our schools are not like the american girl in this video, american schools usually have 7-8 shorter classes like 50 mins long
@the living heart뉴하트 They mean that typical American schools have 7-8 classes a day, each class being 50 minutes long.
ben shapipi i’m in florida and mine is like hers we do have 8 classes but we only go to 4 a day so half and half and they are 1 1/2 long
Ok, but neither of them have a typical school life... A Korean Boarding school and an art school in an office building in LA. Why not find more typical students in public school?
I feel that the students in Korea are more responsible, because they are on time and respectful to others and teachers. This is interesting to me and I think America needs to step up a bit. No hate ( I also live in America )

@@0Amanana LOL you totally get it
I'd like a video comparing students from regular public high schools. These two both seem to be from special situation-type schools (a boarding school, and an art school in an office building?) so it's pretty different from the average student's daily life in each country.
@@aliahhidalgo6875 I live in Korea and I haven't met anyone here yet who went to a boarding school. Every country has them but it's not the average student's experience. Regular public schools are 5 days a week.
I feel like the fact they both go to nice fancy schools kinda takes a lot away from the whole "everyday regular school life" thing you guys are going for here
schools in asia are like that tho,we get good food at least
i think the point of the video is to show different perspectives of an “everyday regular school life” may look fancy to us but i think some korean schools are like that, especially if the students live on site, but the american girl goes to an art school so i see why her day looks fancy and laid back
So based on the fact that this video is months old and there a comments from 5 minutes ago, I'm guessing we all randomly got this in our recommends
