AudioPipe makes the list as best Budget subwoofer of 2020.
The BDC4-12 was actually released in 2019
as an upgrade option to Audiopipe previous BD4s.
It was First debuted on this channel back in April of this year,
And I was able to pick up one of these guys, for only $160.
The Sundown audio X-8 makes the list as best Space saving subwoofer of 2020. The Sundown audio X-8 has pulled in more views than any other 8 inch subwoofer featured here on the channel.

Man this is cool! My buddy got a couple of those Resilient Gold 12's and I built a box for him. About 2.5 cubes/sub and 33Hz tuning or so. They work well! Look really cool too, to the point where the guy had me put windows in the box!

I got 2 CT sounds meso 12's in my truck and they go hard. CT sounds make some of the best budget subwoofers, and they may be better than the most expensive ones.💯

Hard to beat Skar audio for the price. If you are on a tight budget then they are by far the best choice. Of course this is my opinion only. I seen a guy with 1 skar 18 and it was priced at $139 on ebay. He ran a skar rp1500 and for just a little over 300 dollars for sub and amplifier he was knocking like a champ. Loud and low. To say i was impressed was an understatement. How can you beat a deal like that?
Got a question....I’m interested in the SKAR 12 inch EVL 2400 woofers & put em on the SKAR 2000 d class amp. Are the woofers as good as advertised? Am I headed in the right direction? Just doing my research. Are opinions are appreciated. Thank u

What amp on the XFL?
You can't go wrong with the Resilient Sounds Gold 12" sub!!! I was looking to upgrade my single sub setup from an Image Dynamics IDQ 12" sub to their IDMAX 12" sub, but didn't want to spend $400 doing it so I remembered a video that I saw about a year ago from EXO Contralto reviewing Resilient Sounds lineup of subs. I ended getting the Gold 12 for $289 on Amazon and MAAAAAAN LISTEN!!!!! That thang slaps so hard and sounds so good doing it!!

I got a pair of resilient sounds gold 12s put them on a sundown salt 3 the golds are great especially with a 3000watt korean amp

I got 2 12 skar vxf's but I only got 1500 rms pushing them should I go with a taramp bass 3k... or the skar rp3500... what do you think bro let me noe ?
I have a quick question , what’s the best bang for the buck capacitor , I just pulled the trigger on a Skar SDR 12 I’m going to be running it at 2ohms and my amp is a Rockford Fosgate prime 500.1 , berth sheet said 648 at 2 ohms , thank you again !! With the prices of AGM batteries being so affordable now days, I'd recommend the cheapest AGM over a capacitor. The benefits are night and day differences.
Great video, you should look into these other brands, wolfram/ssa/ soundqubed/Cab audio/ incriminator audio. Maybe you can do a top 5 budget amplifier video next?

SSA subs are seriously under rated. Mine is just getting started at full tilt on rms power. I switched it out just to have better sound at a reasonable volume

Overall sound is very musical. I’ve had it in a couple boxes built for different sound and it was good in both. The only thing I would say negative is I like a powerful sound which it doesn’t really do until it’s past normal listening volume. It’s really starting to come alive right around where my amp starts clipping

I love the videos as always man. Question, any thoughts on DSPs, Crossovers, EQs etc? Or do you recommend any combination to get the best output from a upgraded car system. I have (4) 6.5 PRV mids for the front doors and rear deck, a set of PRV 4" super tweeters, a set of Skar dome tweeters, a 15" VXF Skar dual 2 subwoofer, one Taramp 3k Bass Amp, one Taramp TS 400X4 2 Ohms 4 Channel Amp for mids and highs (still waiting on a delayed shipment for this amp from Amazon) and a "recommended" Clarion MCD360 2/3 way 6 Channel Crossover. *(Disclaimer I'm waiting on installation of all of this due to the delayed shipment of my Taramp, so I haven't heard the system yet).
My challenge has been finding what exactly to go with or what exact combination of DSPs/Crossovers/EQs etc to go with. I've watched many UA-cam videos, but I'm still 🤔🤔🤔. I'm looking for a great musical balance but I also want my old school rap and R&B's low-end to process correctly for that elite sound.
In addition to my Clarion MCD360 EQ, I have heard recommendations of The Epicenter, the Soundstream BX-20Z and Dayton DSPs.
Any particular suggestions of one in particular or combination? Would love to hear a review on this subject.

It sound like you got a great system in works. In short, hi with the company with the best support/warranty and I also believe a DSP, is better at finding your crossover points. I have the Dayton Audio mini DSP, in my office set up. Is small, easy to use, and versatile. 4 channels in/8 channels out.

I replaced my Skar VVX-8 with an Audiopipe BDC3-8 after the Skar blew a voice coil for the second time. The Audiopipe hits harder in my opinion. It sounds great for an 8 even though it is only an SVC sub. For a 300 watt rms 8 on an Alpine MRP M500 pushing 300 rms at 4ohm its perfect for everyday listening.

Skar isn't hated because it's the worst product. Skar is average, off the shelf, rebadged Chinese junk. It's cheap for a reason. The biggest reason for Skar "haters" is their piss poor record of customer service and lack of business ethics.

@@colbydolby6559 In my current more sound quality oriented build I have an Adire Audio Brahma 15 in 4.75 cubes tuned to 25hz powered by a Korean built 1.5k, a PPI 900.4 in active mode with Ascendant Audio carbon midwoofers, and Dayton (parts express) ANF25F tweeters. A custom-built lithium bank handles the electrical off of the stock DC-DC converter (it's a hybrid car). I'm getting ready to add some mids, another amp, and a DSP to go 3 way active up front. In my old SPL build in an SUV I had 4 Audioque (Soundqubed before the rename) HDC3 18's powered by 4 Crescendo BC2ks in 25 cubes tuned to 34hz, Crescendo PA mids and tweets powered by a combination of new and old PPI amps, an audio control EQL, and 2 Singer alts with XS D31s. I totaled the SUV that the big build was in and sold off most of the components, but I'm going to buy a new SUV soon and plan on doing the best sounding big build I can. I'm thinking 4-6 Adire tumult 15's in 4.5-5 each tuned to 24 hz, and several of the Fi split-coil mids per door with morel tweets, and a pair of DSPs to time-align everything, EQ, and give me a few presets.
As for what all is rebadged junk.... most everything. It's easier to list what isn't, which is any of your ultra high-end SQ brands (Morel, Focal, Audiofrog, Helix etc..), some higher-end mainstream brands (JL, Rockford power and punch, Kicker amps and new solo X, etc.), and the higher-end what I would call enthusiast brands (Adire Audio, Sundown, Incriminator, DC, Fi, Synergy, Stereo Integrity, etc). In the 2000's most of the enthusiast brands were good American made stuff in one of 4 buildhouses (RE/DESTIJL, NCA Labs, Eminence, and TC Sounds). RE/Destijl built RE, XBL Adire, Asecndant, early ED and I'm sure a few others. NCA built 2nd gen ascendant, Memphis Mojos, OG Incriminator. Eminence built lower end Adire. TC Sounds built Eclipse, Team RF, Sound Splinter, Audiopulse. Now for American made you have Incriminator (they now have their own buildhouse), Adire, Fi and possibly a few others actually building product for themselves and other brands. I think Incriminator builds for many other brands, like subndowns higher-end stuff, but I'm not certain on that. I'm not positive if DD is built in house, but it is quality. Soundqubed and American bass have some similar products and are Chinese, but their subs are better than Skar. The amps are very similar between some of the Skar and Soundqubed models, but that's about where the similarities end. I wouldn't say that Skar is necessarily a lot worse than American Bass or Soundqubed if comparing like for like products, but AB and SQ both have much better customer service and also offer higher-end models that skar can't touch. Skar is what I would consider minimum acceptable quality for a budget install, but at the expense of questionable business practices and customer service. It is a step above low-end kicker and most other entry-level mainstream products and two steps above the cheapest like Boss, Pyle, etc. Skar is a step below better Chinese products like American Bass, Soundqubed, and mid-higher level mainstream brands and nowhere near higher end like Adire, Fi, Sundown, Incriminator, Synergy, Stereo Integrity etc. Some of these brands lower end product is designed in the US and built in China, but is in a different ballpark. The savings isn't worth the quality difference.

The question I asked was a bit rhetorical but I and probably a lot other people appreciate the extended version of your answer. That was kind of my point. It sounds like you are well versed in the knowledge and application in the car audio industry. Certainly your large previous builds and future builds qualify you to Express your beliefs and experience with many different audio companies. As far as skar goes, are they the best lower budget line of car audio equipment? Perhaps not but in due respect to the budget bass head channel and all the valuable information he has shared over the years on his channel, I think all about customer service and who buys off the shelf parts made in China and so on and so forth, may be a bit of information overload for those who are starting out in car audio and are looking for the best "bang for their buck" in which I believe the budget bass head has done a great service to explain and show what's available for those of us who can't afford a system such as the ones you have built. I happen to have an all skar build in my personal truck and this far into the build I am happy with the sound quality and the equipment I have purchased from skar. I am running 3 skar amplifiers and 4 skar subs, two components on the dash along with their tweeters and 8 inch mid bass in the stock door location. Guaranteed I paid way less than anything you've ever built but I'm happy with the sound quality. Customer service from skar? So far they've been good to me. What is all the commotion about their customer service ? And speaking of Chinese equipment, my head unit is a 10.1 inch joying with an Intel processor and i absolutely love it. Joyings customer service? Hands down better than any American company I've ever dealt with!

I wouldn't know never heard Resilient Sounds. All I know is that the X-12 can handle more power and the build quality make it worth the extra $60.

Man skar just isn't what it use to be. Sundown cost to much.. but yeah skar doesn't beat like it use to and the coil goes out quickly. I've have two major run ins so I think it'll be either that gold speaker I've never had back to Americabass or Audiopipe

You need to check out the Adire brahma and/or tumult. You'll pay a bit more, but they constantly have 25-30% off sales. The XBL^2 design assists in it being one of the best sounding subwoofers ever made, competing with much higher priced ultra high-end brands. It can still get loud too and has 28mm (brahma) or 34mm (tumult) of xmax. They also don't need thousands and thousands of watts to get going. Also hand-built in America, unlike most of the rebadged Chinese off the shelf junk out there.
Also, skar has no engineers. It's all rebadged Chinese junk. The VXF is the only decent model they make IMO. In addition, do some research on their customer service history. I will not support skar. Yeah its cheap, but it is not quality. For budget brands I'd pick American Bass, Soundqubed, and even Audiopipe over Skar.
