In case you don't remember, Hilma is the woman that Mare picked up in her mansion in the third season and he broke a leg with his cane 😅 if you don't remember, she is one of the leaders of the 8 fingers, Hilma was in charge of production and selling drugs (in fact, her partner, Coco Doll, is the leader of those who once again caught the girl that Sebas rescued and that he personally went to save) she is faithful to Ainz since she along with the others took them to the room of the giant cockroach and they made their children eat them alive from the inside out and then they healed them, so they repeated the process many times until they became their slaves, in fact in the third season it is mentioned 👍 as a result of that everyone the leaders, that is, the 8 fingers are very skinny, since they cannot eat anything solid, since it reminds them of the sensation of the thousands of cockroaches entering their mouths to eat them alive, now their diet is based on liquid things, for that Hilma now looks very thin compared to before (and her companions are the same)

Doesn't look like you recognized her, but the lady in the white dress with the "nice eyes" is Hilma. She was one of the leaders of the Eighth Fingers, the one Mare abducted near the end of Season 2 and tortured. She and the other people that Albedo met with were the Eight Fingers, that Nazarick is using to manipulate Re-Estize.
They weren't sure how the nobles would react to Albedo since she has 1 name. Commoners have 2 names and nobles at least 3.
Hilma is one of the Eight Fingers bonked by Mare and sent to the Cockroach pit to tame them.
Philip is a puppet used to create conflict inside the Kingdom between different noble factions.
The cube given by Albedo is called "Seed of the Fallen" a race converter device from human to a lesser demon-like imp, and can only be opened by lowering the karma of the user (killing people).
The wand held by Albedo is a World Item named Ginunggagap, which can deal a huge physical damage in a large area.
You asked about what Albedo was carrying. It is her world item Ginnugap. Although Ainz gave out many after the Shaltear incident in Season 1 to his guardians so that they are immune to other world items (like the one that does the mind control). Further, if you recall, Season 3 Episode 9 (around 20:00 mark) Demiurge mentioned meeting Renner (He says "Golden Princess") and she was as he expected from Sebas' description and based on this, Albedo said she wanted to meet her too.

Did you wonder how a Rubick's cube showed up at the start of season 2? Maybe it's not so much if a player will show up, but WHEN did a player show up. Wait till late this season. The Swords of Darkness mentioned the previous owner of Lakyus' sword, remember who it was? That sound when Philip touched Albedo's shoulder was her teeth grinding as she tried not to rip his arm off and beat him to death with it. Philip is a complete idiot and only the grace of some celestial being allows him to keep beathing. No, Hilma is using Philip as a puppet and was terrified he would anger Albedo and Hilma would get the blame. Hilma had the night time encounter with Mare in the mansion near the end of season 2.

In regards to the future of Overlord: there's a movie coming soon that covers LN (Light Novel) #12-13 which takes place between episode 6 and 7 of this season 4. Season 4 covers up to LN 14, there's 15 and 16 currently out, 17 coming very soon and 18 planned to finish the series. The author initially planned more than 18 LNs but he got bored with the story so there are going to be a lot of loose ends still! Always fanfics I guess OMEGALUL
My thoughts are the anime will end at season 5, probably around 2025 or so, maybe a year after the LN ends. I HOPE it'll be 20 episodes but seasons 1-4 should have also been 20 episodes, a lot of skipped and rushed content.
Overlord is such a fun story and I enjoy watching other people watching it. Keep it up
I thought the author annoyed bc he know that lot of stories he's working on got leaked. I think he's preparing some limited side story (evil eye side story or something) for someone who buy set blueray/novel. When he know that got leaked, he think to shortened the story like this.

@@SatuMusim As far as I know, those are separate. True, the author was annoyed fans translated the bonus chapters to English, which was kind of a dick move on his part tbh, we should be able to enjoy it aswell. But before that he decided to reduce the length of the LN several times because he started the story when all his friends stopped playing games with him at the time (main inspiration behind the setup for the guild Ains Ooal Gown) but he found a new group later so the story kind of lost the meaning/interest for him. This is just how I understand it so who knows besides the author himself.

Hilma specifically had her leg broken by Mare when he whacked her with his magic staff...
She was later eaten from the inside out by Kyouhouku's family... (Kyouhouku is the giant cockroach that wears a crown)
Now she is the head of the new underground organization Ainz created out of the remains of the Eight Fingers....
that "shadow" is a shadow demon, anyone travelling outside nazaric gets one for protection and recon. evidentlly Renner is important enough to be assigned one as well. it level 60 so basically a powerhouse in new world standarts

I don't know why the Shadow Daemon is used when they have access to message scrolls though...
It wasn't Sebas, it was Demiurge. And the reason they sometimes prefer to use Shadow Daemons is because the Message scroll and spells could be "jammed into" or listened to, where the shadow daemons literally give and read the thoughts.

Well, it negates the power of other World Items (such as itself). Its real power is evidently as a great AOE weapon.
Nice catch on the shadow demon thing, Chris. Because that's exactly what that thing is. It was given to her by Ainz to protect her, but mostly to keep an eye on her.
Shadow demon is quite strong but not so much. Albedo and Demiurge thought that if she was found out and assassinated before they could make their move, then she wasn't worthy of working with them. That's why she didn't get a better bodyguard 😅
20:22 No, he really isn’t. As Philip’s dad said, their territory only spans a single village and they’re a minor noble family. What he’s proposing is the political equivalent of entering a high stakes poker game with nothing but chump change (and also thinking that he’s playing go fish), because he has nothing to offer, no resources, no land, not even clout.
Also, (this isn’t a spoiler) the “dog/wolf” people aren’t that at all, the anime doesn’t do that good of a job adapting them but they are supposed to be essentially mole men.
Plus, why you both gotta be so harsh towards Zanac, he’s the most likable/competent member of the royal family. His father the king is a soft-hearted doormat, his older brother Barbro was an arrogant hot-tempered meat head who was pretty much being primed by the nobility to be their puppet, and his sister Renner is a psychopath (or in other words, a Yandere). Is it just because he looks (and somewhat acts) like an archetypal pompous second born heir (i.e. short, pudgy, and fat)?
On the subject of Albedo and Demiurge, they are aware of Ainz utopia idea, it’s just that they (along with the rest of the NPCs) liken his desire to create/rule one to him basically wanting to make a private exotic zoo for himself, and it isn’t hard to see how they would’ve come to that conclusion considering Ainz’s newfound goal for the Sorcerer Kingdom (when you think about it) more or less boils down to him treating the New World (the fantasy world he’s currently in with Nazarick) and it’s inhabitants like he’s playing one of those village sim app games.
And for the whole situation regarding the history of Players in the New World, what happened was that the Players were all transported simultaneously to the New World when the Yggdrasil servers shut down. But (for some thus far unknown reason) as they were all being transported from Yggdrasil to the New World, they were scattered across different time periods throughout the New World’s timeline (i.e. the 6 Great Gods that the Slane Theocracy worship showing up 600 years before Ainz and Nazarick did). And in regards to the clues hinting at the previous existence of Yggdrasil Players and NPCs prior to the arrival of Ainz and Nazarick, some of the major ones have been figures of legend and/or gods, if someone makes mention of a legendary figure (especially one from the past) more often than not they’re probably Players (or at least NPCs).

as for the clues, aside from the 6 great gods and the 8 greed kings (all of whom are dead now) being confirmed as players we also have the fact everyone in the world can understand each other, even creatures that never saw humans, also the ygdrasill teir magic system is in place, this sugests that at least 2 world items were used. also ainz suspects the "martial arts" in the world were created to counter players, seeing how they can affect even level 100 characters.

One they're out of the context, Two some of the scenes are different than it would happen on the shows. Three they're banger. Easily my favorite opening from Overlord.

Spoiler warning, there are no clues about other players in the show, how you guys, and some of your audience, make these leaps is beyond me. I struggle not write things that are negative but when y'all summarize the show before each episode you ponder things that have already been addressed early in the show. How long the game has been online, addressed in episode 1. The Hilma woman, seen in season 2 then again in season 3 when she was brutally captured by Mare. You really have to pay attention to and remember the details as they happen. Don't make assumptions about the season based on the intro, the one thing this show excels in, in comparison to other isekai, is world building. It all gets explained.
Your half correct allot of the player hints are Light Novel stuff and stuff the writer has said in interviews or revealed on his blog
Also the show only shows like barely 20% of the stuff the light novels go into
