That meeting within the Theocracy showed just how important Momon's existence turned out to be since they were figuring out that Jaldabaoth, Shaltear and Ainz are all connected but because of Momon that completely threw them off 😅
Momon, the Goat. MVP.
My man Jircniv is at the verge of a panic attack while Ainz thinks of him as a pal and role model XD
its so funny:D
At 10:50 the Windstrider they are referring to is Clementine from Season 1 and Kaire is the one that tried to mind control Shaltear when she stabbed her
More like a big ass hole with Nibelung Valesti.... tru da Shieldguy
basically every 200 years players from ygdrasil arive to the new world, the condition is them possesing a world item. since Ainz was sitting on the trhone when summoned the entire nazaric got summond, yes the big trhone is a world item.
So the guild came along because of the throne, or was it because of the guild's scepter?
the scepter (staff of ainz oul gawn) is a guild weapon, it controls nazaric, and whilst powerfull is not a world item. so its not responsible for the transfer. the trone is a world item and was a reward for qonquering nazaric without lossing anione, ainz was sitting on it during the transfer.@@aidaid3962
@@aidaid3962 throne is a world item, and ainz was siting on it, also that red orb thats on ainz lower abdomen is also an world item
7:55 Here we see the "Thousand Leagues Astrologer", the oracle of the Slaine Theocracy, going mad after spying on Ainz...
She saw and recognized the unfathomable power of Nazarik....
just imagin the sick twisted mind of the DM that makes the BBEG a random encounter
an intelegence person would always think they are dumb
"Try your best!" Poor Jircniv lol you can just hear the desperation in his voice. He knows that he can't beat Ainz but says try your best because he's so desperate for even a miracle. A detail that was omitted is that on top of the hair loss, Jircniv has been having severe stomach cramps a pain similar to having stomach ulcers in his case...
It's never stated but that red orb is a world item
28:40 That was a really great comment. I've read that with his intelligence increase he also gained a passive ability that is sort of like what you said here(intuition) but it's not something he's aware of. Subconsciously his actions lead to his benefit even when he doesn't realise it down the line. It might have been called "Dark intelligence" or maybe not. I can't remember.
there is a theory in the overlord comunity: the avatar Ainz is inhabiting, in other words his body, is in fact also a fully sentient NPC loyal to Ainz, so every time Ainz has a random idea that turns up briliant its in fact his avatar whispering in his subconcious
Interesting. I was also thinking that some unconscious force was guiding his serendipitous actions. So this Avatar also has high-spec intelligence to compete with the mental might of Albedo and Demiurge.
thats the theory@@aidaid3962
This could be considered a slight spoiler by some people so make of that what you will. I'm gonna give a little hint about finding out if it's PA or Ainz.
Pay attention to way they act and the inner monologue. What you see might not always be the truth.
The intellegence theory you mentioned is a little off. Its closer to as if a second genius is behind his own mind that DOES see all the threads and alters ainz's plans and actions to make all these "mistakes" and and "coincidences" happen to further the goal of an overlord, total domination. But its still just a theory and i honestly hope it really is just coincidence.
Momonga being peak badass by pure coincidence as usual.
sasuga Ains-sama!
25:00 Ainzs Gear is basically the highest level of gear that was obtainable in the game (I think in the Books they call it god tier or something), world items are extremely rare to the point that a top tier Guild such as Ainz Ooal Gown had only around ten of them across their entire guild, so they where not commonly equipped as part of your characters gear but instead only taken out when you actually need to use them since they could get stolen by other players.
I think they were called relic level items or something.
@@christianbenjaminledezmava8498 wiki calls them divine items, probably depends on the version(ln/manga etc.) and on the language it got translated to
I think you might be on to something with the unconscious impact of intelligence/wisdom. Momon is not confident that he can compete with Albedo and Demiurge in games of wit, but he has an uncanny knack for saying and doing the right thing at the right time. Despite his constant complaints about not understanding the events around him, he might have some unconscious comprehension and guidance for his actions, kind-of like the automatic emotion suppression that forces him toward the mental back of an Undead Lich Overload. I like this idea as a viable alternative to purely contrived plot armor.
However, the natural enforcement of character stats is also the reason why I fear that his extremely negative karma will drive him to do increasingly evil things.
Yeah his intelligence and luck stat translated into reality we’ll all his stats in general and intelligence being so broad cuz many factors do affect intelligence intuition and decision making was included even when he’s not aware it’s affecting everything he does that coupled with the luck stat is why everything he does seems seamless for example giving the potion to that adventure chik in ss1 he didn’t mean for her to go to the best potion maker and then get in touch with him and get him to work with them but that happened this is why demiurge thinks of Ainz as inscrutable because if you look into his actions and follow what happens after he takes action everything perfectly falls into place and an amazing result occurs
The world item Albedo is holding also transforms into her axe, and is powerful enough to destroy an entire city. So he is walking around with the equivalent of a suitcase nuke. Notice Albedo called him Lord Momonga not Lord Wins going back to the change he made in her data sheet. 8:30 no she was observing from long distance scrying.
What are you talking about? Her axe it's a completely different thing.
That world item was supposed to be shown since the very first episode but they just didn't feel like animating it xd
that's one thing you see a couple times in this season was Albedo upset he abandoned his name and she still calls him by his true name, Momonga, a couple times.
Props to Chris again for being the best editor for UA-cam viewer.
I know someone probably already tell this. But here it is the cut content from this episode that i remember.
First, the daily basis of Jircniv/Emperor being cut, the most important scene atleast for me is when Jircniv talking with one of his concubine, also his favorite cause her intelligent. He asking what he need to do for this Sorcerer King situation.
Number Two. Before Slane Theocracy people go inside to the Jircniv room at Colosseum, the Adamantite adventurer that Jircniv hire not letting Slane Theocracy people go inside immediately. There's some conflict because the number from Slane Theocracy group not match from what Jircniv/Emperor told them. They almost got fighting but fortunately not happen.
I think that's about it. And i want to mention that the God-Kin is the character from Season 2 Eps 1 jg you remember. Even in this scene dialogue they show us the picture the two of them.
27:43 That's true about his intelligence... I even forgot about that, but it goes further than that...
By now you know that all of the abilities that come with being undead also affect him, but also...
His alignment (true neutral) affects his morality...
The same is true for all of the NPCs of Nazarik... they all had biographies written about them from the players who created them... those bios had absolutely zero function in the game other than flavoring, but became the basis of their personality when they became living creatures with aspects of their creators to fill the gaps...
The moral alignment system is the reason most of Nazarik are psychopaths and the reason why the neutral Ainz has trouble relating to their wishes, but also goes along with what they want a lot of the time...
Isn't Momonga at the same Karma level (also sometime translated as "sense of justice") as Albedo and Demiurge though? Rather I'm not sure about him being true neutral, I remember most denizen of Nazaric being extreme evil, Momonga included.
@@enomiellanidrac9137
Maybe he was? Though his preferred actions are more neutral than most others...
I know that at least the twins are neutral (but closer to evil), Sebas was good, I don't remember Cocytus's alignment, but the rest of the guardians are evil....
Ainz... I figured he was neutral because he had no desire for death and destruction but seemed indifferent to most things that would have normally bothered him... and even seemed surprised that certain things didn't bother his conscience, but he was also surprised by how extreme his own allies are...
maybe his human alignment canceled out his in-game alignment if that's the case?
@@The5armdamput33 Yes I think you're right, in Momonga's case the duality of his character being inhabited by his player consciousness creates ambiguity regarding alignement.
For the other NPC I indeed remember Sebas being good and Pandora the actor being neutral, I also think victim is good because of his Angel racial level, so there is probably some more NPC with those alignement even if Evil is the majority.
@@enomiellanidrac9137
But I would think that if his own morality was in conflict with a completely evil will imposing on him, he wouldn't just be indifferent to human suffering as he has shown to be; I think he would be struggling against his own bloodlust...
I would think he would have evil thoughts enter his mind and try to resist them...
But instead, he just acts as though the morality of his actions don't matter and doesn't go out of his way to do anything good or evil... but when he does consider morality, he usually chooses good... and when he does choose evil, it's with pressure from the guardians...
If the girl who could see power had gone to Carne Village and run into the "Peacekeeper" there she would've most likely been able to see her power level.
You're giving Ainz too much credit, he doesn't think that far
Also Ainz is a pretty smart strategist
Aside from being a king and acting like tge perfect one
He's waaaaay superior to the rest of the NPC's when it comes to fights
Also i remember him having a good memory and memorize a ridiculous amount of spells, magic items and their infos from the game
So many people think Ainz is stupid simply because Ainz thinks it, but Ainz is actually insane. I think the only reason Ainz think he is not that smart is because he isn't naturally gifted and had to put a lot of effort to catch up to everyone he viewed superior to him, even though he was essentially comparing himself to everyone's best quality.
I don't think there are atributes as such in the game of ygdrasil, but ainz has skills like dark wisdom and is quite intelligent himself .. my theory is his dark wisdom and other skills wisper ideas into his subconscious mind
Some explanations abt the empire situation rn
Unlike the re-estize kingdom
The knights inthe empires and soldiers are elite and need a lot of training
So because of Ainz spell "nigga idk what" most of them just fell into despair and have no will to fight Ainz
So basically the empire lost most of their military power
Also they starting beef with el-nix cause he was the reason for that and nro started stressing out because of it to the point gis hair starting to fall
10:48 .... more info from previous episodes....
it's really ironic that slane theocracy people hate the undead...
and most non-human races
Check for after credits scenes;)
It better be chicken thighs!
I love this season
