I would not have called that level of performance from this tire...but I'm also not surprised by it. Another "hit" from JConcepts!
They're Asymmetric Directional in 1:1 tire terminology. A lot of asymmetric tires are directional. Some of those you can swap left to right and some you can't. If a tire has an outside feature to reduce wear, it has to be on the outside on each side.
Crazy performance for a scaler tyre 🎉
That’s a good looking tire on baseline !!
JConcepts continues to impress.
I have a set of Rock Blocks on homemade custom 3D inserts, mounted on a Fordyce. Only went trailing once so far, temps were right below freezing when I started out but thawed by the time I was done. Grip on rocks was good for how cold it was. They packed up with mud a lot when it started thawing and the center lugs wouldn't clear out. I noticed a little loss of forward drive with steep climbs, otherwise they were great. Overall, I'm happy with them.
JConcepts clearly knows how to make tires. Scalers that work this well? That's some serious mojo.
I had welding class today. The project is filling a piece of 6in long 3in angle iron using the GMAW process.(this project is practice a deep beveled butt weld) It was so fun,I had it set at 19.7V and WFS at 375IPM. It was going awesome,I pattern I was running was small lower case cursive “e”s. That pattern lays down awesome little dimes.
I just welded a basket to the tongue of my trailer and I know what you mean about the e's!
@ did it go well? No burn through, under cut, under fill, porosity?
@@Bonitacreekrcs very well and gets one of those stupid receiver baskets out circulation
I have these tires and I printed about 20 inserts for them...but I haven't been able to got to the LHS course to try them out.
Glad I took your advice! I ordered mine a few days ago from Tower Hobbies. They'll be delivered tomorrow! I didn't know they had an L and R. Glad I watched this 😂
You should build a bracket for the back of jolly green to hold a leaf rake head and have servo to raise and lower it. Make the raking fun.
Thats a great idea!
could call it "The so cal snow plow"
Nice! Been looking for a high performing scale tire. Just ordered these, thanks for putting in the legwork with all these tests.
Btw, will we be seeing the new? DSServo brushless servo test soon?
you can hear the joy in your voice🤣
I really like those ...will order soon.
Man I have a set on the wall, need to try them out! I also have the Boss Man’s and the Crux, kind of cool to see how all 3 did for you.
Gotta do direct comparisons with the new tires and tusks
Another task for the twins
Yes, please!😊
Those tires have to be tested on the left side then swapped to the right.
"Definition of control"
i'll get myself one set for the Machigan FMS - I think they will look good on him
Howdy👊
RC4wd 2.2 Two Face came in left and right pairs like this.
Are there any 1.55 tires on the charts?
Nice vid. I got some
New injora super heavy brass wheels and king trekkers for my gen 7 sport and the wheels in the rear keep spinning off the bead. I’ve checked screw tightness, cleaned them and rebuilt them many tires and the rear wheels always end up spinning inside the tire. Very disappointing, not sure I must be doing something wrong. Checked the bead numerous times, all seated well. Any ideas?
Number 25 👍🏻
11:08 Ow, my misophonia! 🙉
I wonder how a snail slime compound tusk would perform.
These tires are 120%!
So, pick one: the Bossman or the Rock Block?
The beauty is, I don't have to. No tire is the best at everything. The Rock Block is a properly executed MT Baja Boss, and the Bossman is a properly executed BFG Krawler. Choose your weapon.
@ I ordered the Rock Blocks...
Once my inserts are in those the sidehill problem may have vanished...
Champs!
We need quick(re)view from Dlux Iron Rocks
Yo
It's been a while since you forgot to measure the tires last time... Until today. Gimme the measures when you can sir, or put them on the spreadsheet
THIS VS THAT, TUSK VS ROCK BLOCK!
They get 9th place, being the 4th best Green tire, and the best 4.75 Green tire. And its scale? Oh man, I hope JC ramps up the production, cause these are going to be EVERYWHERE
SORRCA, get ready to ban another tire
121x45
Time to get the PROLINE MOAB 2.2
Something about asymmetric tires just looks wrong to me. I'll stick with lesser tires
Someone call the brothers I see a this or that incoming
Rock block or tusk who will be crowned
Not to ruffle any feathers but, how is the score that high without completing the sidehill?
Failing the transition is only a two-tenths deduction.

This isn't good for my OCD 😁😬
