Adam Clayton sounds so pristine, his clarity and comprehension is like that of an Academician. I think that reflects in his style of playing. He is too smart to know what is simplicity and what is just basic.

I always like to hear Larry and Adam speak, Bono and Edge usually get the mic.

Adam Clayton's voice would definitely lend to some great vocals or backing vocals.

The clip of U2 "in Berlin" at 1:53 is actually a clip of the band recording the 'Unforgettable Fire' album at Dublin's Windmill Lane studios in 1984, it's not them in Berlin. It's taken from a documentary film of the band that was released in the 1980's about the recording of the album. Link: www.imdb.com/title/tt0215283/

Lou Reed never went to Berlin for inspiration. He wrote the 'Berlin' album without ever being there.

He's not really Irish, that's a very posh accent. Unless it's an affectation.

Adam is Brittish. He moved to Ireland with his family when he was 5. That's why his accent is 'posh'

Almost an upper class British accent. He also has a bit of a lisp (which I find quite cute) so maybe he had some speech therapy at some point.

That's strange, I think he sounds very Irish. The 'r''s are that of an Irish man. But he was born in Oxford, and his parents were English.

As much as I think Germany is an interesting country, Berlin does not look that attractive to me. But maybe there are some highlights to it that I don’t know about

Berlin is not a place in between. Warsaw is and it has always been. Poland and Ireland have so much in common, but you need to learn and understand the history. Berlin wall is one of the most false symbols, it was raised in the wrong place. The true wall was somewhere else and it took more to turn it down.
