Awesome video - but seriously, for a moment - shout out to all the folks out there helping to get rid of the plastic bags in the sea, and helping the whales to fly through our ocean planet
Steve Thornton awesome , I Clone it on my notes. By the way those who doesn't care of Toxic Garbage Island need an Esoteric Surgery... They are hurting themselfs like an Oroborus
I just came back from a trip to the sea and it was heartbreaking to see how much plastic shit there is... it's everywhere, I went snorkeling and I found all kind of crap, even in the most isolated beaches. Thankfully there are awesome bands like Gojira who raise awareness on this problem
I'm a member of the Green Party here in the States and the way humanity is treating mother nature makes me weep for the future. I mean I don't even have to go far to see it. My local nature preserve is full of trash and what not. People just don't understand the impact they are having on earth and we are like a virus slowly killing it
Cities are burning, the trees are dying My heart awake but still pain is killing me This gives me chills like in that part in Reclamation by Lamb of God when he says that Cree proverb: Only after the last tree's cut And the last river poisoned Only after the last fish is caught Will you find that money cannot be eaten. Fucking nuts what's happening. And I feel like metal is the best genre of music to relay that feeling of destruction.
I saw them in August with Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold. They were immense and the overall tone was just in your face. Too bad hardly anyone there was into it.
This show is absolutely legendary. They play Fire is Everything, the outro for Where Dragons Dwell goes for 5 straight minutes, they play both REMEMBERANCE and WISDOM COMES, and this is the heaviest version of Toxic Garbage Island i can find.
If you look carefully at the drummer's head at 2:21 it seems like it's spazzing in and out of an alternate demon dimension, deforming and jittering constantly

Possibly the best band of our generation
On that metal genre yes i am agreed. In alternative metal i said System of a down.
For sure

Gojira's gotta go mainstream, and everyone listening... Should go "I'd never dump again, reduce polluting, stop all this..."
They're fairly mainstream for a metal band
I love how angry and disgusted Joe’s screams sound while sounding so beautiful and powerful at the same time. Makes me fucking cry
