    Such a great swatching video! This is my second time watching it. This video is permanently saved in a watercolor wishlist folder; where I can refer back too when choosing Holbein colors I want to try. Thank you for making this! Much love

    Hi Alice, a huge thank you for making this Holbein watercolor full catalogue swatching video. Over the course of the past year, I have referred to this thorough and high quality vid at least 30 times (not even joking). It's helped me decide on what new colors to purchase and compare against other brands. Invaluable tool for watercolor painters. Very grateful for this, thank you. Have a nice day!

    Holbein is my favorite paint to use! I love how it re-wets, it’s so creamy! And I absolutely love the color choices. Thank you for making this video, I come back to it over and over again when I feel like adding new colors to my Holbein palette!

    Oh, I like the burnt umber! And that Indian red! That raw umber & raw sienna seem a bit odd, though.

    That was wonderful. Im thinking of buying some Holbein but am worried as the colours that I love are semi opaque/semi transparent (dont know the difference). However, I have read several times that using opaque/semi will just block out any previous transparent layers already painted. I only paint flowers. Could you please give me some advice as I dont understand everything about water colours. thank you in advance.

    • @eurekawanders
      @eurekawanders  Рік тому +1

      You are right. Opaque colours will cover transparent ones. You can use transparent above opaque ones.

    Hi Alice! I really like your watercolor swatches! I just wanna ask if Holbein watercolors are considered non-toxic since I really love their non-granulating formula and colors ❤️

    • @eurekawanders
      @eurekawanders  Рік тому +1

      Hey thanks! they do have paints containing cadmium and cobalt pigments which are considered harmful. You have to read the labels carefully. You can find more in the SDS:

    • @eurekawanders
