  • British teenager Jay Slater has not been heard from since Monday after going missing on the island of Tenerife.
Former Scotland Yard detective Peter Bleksley calls out local police for appealing for information whilst criticising speculation, and slams 'irritating' conspiracy theorists with no detective experience.

Well said. The story has holes. He can't have walked 3 miles in mountains in 15minutes from when landlady saw him - twice after 8 and once on road.
We aren't stupid. This is a fake story.

What exactly could anybody possibly gain from them mentioning it like you people in the comment sections constantly are? Do you think it's somehow going to effect him being found?

    • @courtneysquill8843

@darthpepe2994 Well if he truly is missing why is his mum not searching and why did she go to collect his money and passport rather than search? Why was his passport stopped. Recent reports are that he was spotted 6pm on same day with 2 other guys in a different village.
But those two guys she met with in that secluded middle of nowhere villa she happened to find left on Tuesday.
A 30k Go Fund Me is a reason to stay missing.
      P. s. You can't walk 3 miles in 15 minutes. It takes an hour. So the story doesn't add up. The time Lucy alleged he called he was with the landlady asking bus routes. And she saw him 15 minutes after on the road. About 1.5 km put of town. So how did he get lost in 15 minutes. Did a TARDIS take him and drop him into the mountains.
I am not saying for definite he is not missing but I'm not saying he is. I am saying that the story Lucy has put out is fake as it doesn't add up. She took a long time to search for him. Why call the police if she last spoke to him at 11.50. He lost battery.
There are two reasons to fabricate a story:
1). Either Lucy is helping him hide as he got into trouble.
2). Something has happened to him and this is a made up story to distance herself from what happened.
If you are going to create a missing person you need to get timelines right. The photo at 7.30 Monday can't be Jay. Wrong shoes.

Is his violent shady criminal past a conspiracy theory?
Also 10’s of thousands of people go missing every year, I always question why some cases seem to get so much coverage and others get none, the ones who do always tend to be either celebs or shady people or people with shady pasts or people with connections.
Maybe if the judge in his case hadn’t been so lenient and had locked him up, he might still be alive in a prison cell and not possibly dead in Tenerife, some might call it karma

You don't have to be a lunatic to think that a gang member with a criminal record, at a rave, who goes off with two men in their 40s to a secluded mountain property and then disappears, on an island well known for having drug related gang crime, just *might* have met with foul play (which is why his friends and family keep bringing it up) rather than disappeared hiking home off road, and there being no trace of his body and nobody seeing him in the hiking park.

If he met with foul play, then it would of happened while those 2 men had him in their car, at night, in the middle of the mountains. They certainly wouldn't bring him back to their hotel, let him take a snapchat picture smoking a cigarette and then let him leave the hotel if they wanted to harm him, would they? Jay Slater, 18, of Fountains Way, ACCRINGTON - 18 month community order with 25 days rehabilitation activities and 150 hours unpaid work. Convicted of s18 wounding with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm and violent disorder in August 2023, when he was aged 18. He is now 19.
Tom Hilton, who was 17 at the time of the attack, suffered a head injury so serious his skull was exposed, and wounds to his shoulders and legs in the attack close to the Old Paper Mill in Hermitage Street, Rishton, in August 2021.
The Daily Record: Eight thugs who split boy's head open with machete dodge jail
The teens were slapped with community service after attacking Tom Hilton, who was 17 at the time, with a machete, an axe and a golf club.
    By Rachel Smith Eve Beattie
    19 JUN 2024
Please compare pictures of the convicted Jay Slater in the Lancashire Post article: Eight handed community and rehabilitation orders over attack 4th August 2023, with any other pictures of missing Jay. It is the same person.
Tom Hilton, the victim, was jailed for 14 months, disqualified from driving for 25 months and must sit an extended re-test if he wants his licence back. He pled guilty to attempted burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving. Before conviction for these offences, he had 14 convictions for 28 offences.
The court also heard that on committing these offences on February 12, Hilton was in breach of two community orders which had been imposed on him, one just three days earlier and one in November 2021 which was a two-year order.
Recorder Timothy Hannam KC said: “You have an awful record for someone of your age.
“You’ve had a great many chances to change your ways but these offences are so serious that only a custodial sentence is appropriate.
“This was a prolonged period of bad driving being chased by police. The speeds were terrifyingly high in built up areas. You were lucky the streets were relatively empty."

How come no one’s asked her about the language barrier and why her story keeps changing too and how she has eliminated the other friend Brad from the story in the series of events leading up to his alleged call to her why not report him lost and injured and dehydrated? Why it took hours of her allegations of the police putting the phone down on her that night after her contacting locals from the area he sent her a screenshot of and them telling her that they heard no helicopters 🚁
To say that she is a broad sounding as any northerner I can’t believe that she is fluent in Spanish?

Talk tv is a dumbed down disgrace. I trecked for a month in the canaries, their mountain rescue is second to none. Lancashire police don’t know the terrain, the language (!) and would be no fucking use whatsoever. One person has placed him in the mountains, and if you believe that you’ll believe anything.

    • @MiWri
      @MiWri 3 місяці тому +1

Exactly. They're no use in their own Country without impeding another countries investigation .

Thank you for this comment. Yes, the mountain rescue team is part of la Guardia Civil and they are extraordinary. They have to go through extremely challenging training and are equipped to deal with all types of meteorological conditions among many other things. The Lancashire police has never had that training (the exams to get in la Guardia Civil are also beyond harsh) neither the physical resilience that is required so they would end up hindering them/being a nuisance.
