Nicely filmed. I love flying, airports and customs mot so much. I haven't flown for a few years and I watch a video like this and it feels like I'm in the cabin. Very quiet aircraft, smooth landing and I can barely hear the reverse thrust.
I have a complaint to make. I started looking at this superb video at the breakfast table & so enjoyed it that I continued to another of yours. This made me late for work! So nice to see a steady hand on the camera, no waving it around, no pointless zooming. Also no distracting music. keep up the good work. What is your video equipment?
I know some will scoff at this footage as geeky. But what I saw was the performance of a good pilot and some clear and fascinating video footage. Thanks!
At 06:07 I was standing at the window in my house and saw the plane turning to the airport. What an excellent job of the pilot and thanks a lot for the video!
Now this is the guy I want to see filming the next UFO sighting from a plane!

Those engines are so quiet. Almost too quiet. That's why I like flying on the remaining MD-80s and sitting in the back. Their loud spool up is music to my ears. Setting right next to 777 engines is awesome too.
I actually watched that particular flight live on flightradar that day :) First I thought the pilot would abort his approach as he was turning north as seen on 4:00. The turn back southeastwards on 5:00 then catched my attention, because as seen in the video the plane was quite low at that point. The final left turn in a height of 150-200 meters must have been a real eyecatcher for people sitting on the lefthand side :) While this might be a normal maneuver on other airports it is a very unusual approach on this airport. The reason for the small detour was the "small" thunderstorm cell as seen on 6:00, which blocked the main approach. Big thanks and thumbs up for uploading this video, as it makes me remember wondering that day just what he hell the pilot has in mind :D All in all an impressive maneuver, brilliantly executed.
Sweet maneuvering and landing by all concerned !! Great video demonstrating handling the jet around wicked storm cells !! Check out the massive rainbow in the background while pulling into the gate. Also jet taking off just in time .
Great video. I only fly a cessna 152, but airline pilot at heart. Its neat how big jets fly and land just like a small plane, with just more gadgets.. non pilots just think differently 🤔
given the obvious harsh weather, though i was quite sleeping looking and feeling such a smooth and quiet landing ! LEAP+A320 = a 50 years of advanced tech / 737 or anything in this class.
*_Slats_*_ are aerodynamic surfaces on the leading edge of the wings of fixed-wing aircraft which, when deployed, allow the wing to operate at a higher angle of attack. A higher coefficient of lift is produced as a result of angle of attack and speed, so by deploying slats an aircraft can fly at slower speeds, or take off and land in shorter distances. They are usually used while landing or performing maneuvers which take the aircraft close to the stall, but are usually retracted in normal flight to minimize drag._ -- Wikipedia
You also caught a Rainbow at the end of the video in the background. How did you know what altitude you were in at all times. Was it being shown to passengers via the monitors in the seat?
Very nice video! Interesting to watch the terrain below; as this is Germany, not surprised to see a soccer field, but then I did a double-take: at 6:48, that's a baseball diamond!
Circumventing thunderstorms due to their rigorous up- / downdrafts is of course mandatory, but even then you will not be safe from lightning strokes. I received one in a A340 during an approach into Dallas / Ft. Worth. Result: White colour from the nose cone was partially gone and the lights at the right wing tips had ceased function. Concerning light: It was just a white flash as from a camera flash. Concerning noise: It felt like like someone had hit the fuselage with a large hammer. Nothing worse had happened; all avionics remained unharmed and we landed safely. at Dallas.

Excellent filming! Quite dramatic. Extra points for the omission of music :).

Thanks a lot, Harry!
That's a good Computer at work...
I know they've been around for ever but damn engines still look cool af
Spectacular! Filmed with a steady hand too.

How beautiful, especially the rainbow at the end.
That engine...... I'm in love!!!
Great video, keep up the good work!!

That was one of the smoothest landings ever. The A320 NEO must be a awesome plane. Thank you for the vlog.
The shadow of the plane at 7:10 is really cool.
Fantastic engines! They are enormous, and so quiet!
Visual approach with wide right hand base turn to avoid WX then gentle left alignement turn on short final... well done
It's quiet even when the reverse thrust is applied! Brilliant.
What FSX scenery is this? Link?
/sarcasm for those who didnt get the joke
think is from aerosoft and cost like 80k USD!
Looks like ORBX to me
Startrek - Holodeck
That's X-Plane 11 actually
FlyTampa? Not sure
I love this world of aviation! It's all fantastic!
Such a quiet ride. Awesome!
Germany is so beautiful and the video to...thanx Air-Clips.
I liked this video so much that I saved it! Great job!!

Great video, captions and aircraft info! Thank you!
Why the downvotes? This is absolutely stunning. I guess people thought it would be dramatic with screaming. Morons.
Is it just me or is the new a320neo wing just freaking gorgeous?
Had no idea how beautiful Germany is!!! Great video

Awesome video, one of the best I have seen.
So quiet. Awesome.

Awesome upgrade to the neo. I've been waiting for it in the last 20 years. Great job Airbus, PW and GE.
Wow....look at the quality of the video....Amazing views.....WOW!!!
Perfect landing, great pilot skills there!
Amazing how much better an aircraft looks with the proper powerplants bolted to it.
Love the sound of this engine.
That is one sexy engine, i'll tell you...
Storm beautifully avoided and a perfect landing !
how can anyone not like these vids??????????
love you videos Air Clips greetings from Ireland
One of the best & more exciting video out there!!! keep up the good work man!!!
That was lovely. Nearest I'm gonna get on a plane anytime soon
Everything is better in Germany...lived there for a year!
That had to be the best landing video I've ever seen
Stunning approach
Amazing footage! A320neo's wing is so narrow that it seems the engine will drop to the ground.
WOW, best vid I've seen, very hi-rez, it's as clear as being there. excellent filming.
Great landing! and Great Video!
Nothing better than landing at my home airport Hamburg!
That is insane. Love how the wing is bending all the time and ATC must have gone nuts, that were a lot of turns before the landing.
Very Nice. The best landing video I have ever seen (Even I have already flew 15 times in real but never had this much amazing landing experience )
Textbook procedure for short field. Nice!
Some damn tight and snappy turns there! I guess the pilot is in training for a job flight F-18s ;)
Beautiful scenery shots man.
KUDOS AirBus! I always loved your planes, and thought of you as innovative aircraft/airframe Company since the days of the great Concorde!
very smooth landing
Good video, at least all that thundery weather in the distance kept clear and the landing was actually in sunshine.
Uber cool. Really appreciate the captions!
Nice giant slalom with elegant last turn to runway.
Beautiful light. Great clip.
Schön zu sehen, dass auch mal wieder richtig geflogen wird...
fabulous landing
like the big windows also very smooth Terry bourke

That was a beautiful landing...even in perfect weather that would have been excellent.
Quiet and smooth landing.
My great uncle crossed the River Elbe in 1945.
Great landing. Thanks for posting.
perfect landing to top it off

Must be a glider pilot :D Continuing the approach by a unconventional way to bring the aircraft safely to the ground. Very nice :)
Awesome video.... Great job
which seat were you sitting to get such an engine view?
Terrific graphics.
There are two kinds of people; those who think flying is glamorous and those who have to do it for work or family matters.
very nice vid mate
i can see my building at 6:22
great video !
You also caught a Rainbow at the end of the video in the background.

brillant, awesome superb, thrilling, the best. Sullenberger?
