I guess I got used to ignoring that kind of stuff since cable TV started running ads as soon as they had more than a handful of channels. I don't notice ads on my onn boxes. Completely ignore them and just look for the stuff that interests me.
Nice video! I dont think I habe seen anyone else compare the three. I went with the Google TV Streamer simply because I had $90 of Google Store credit. Otherwise I would have probably gotten the Onn. I also ordered the matching white HDMI cable. It looks nice with matching cables coming out rhe back.
@@alex.hansford Yeah, for real. I would prefer it used Google TV as the launcher instead of the old Android TV though. I actually have the Shield TV (2017) in my closet somewhere. I don't use it anymore for 2 reasons. One is the lack of Google TV, and the other is the lack of Dolby Vision and HDR10+ along with some other newer technologies. It is impressive that they continue updating it though. As for the gaming features, I never used them. It was primarily a video streaming box for me.
I am a Pixel Fan Boy, but the cost of the Google TV Stream is a bit much for me for what it offers, and have not bought one yet. I have bought the Onn 4k Pro and it does all I need. The only thing it does not do is it can't be added to a Castible Speaker Group, which kind of sucks.
Do you have one of these in your living room? Tempted at all to switch?
Nice roundup. For me the best feature of the Apple TV is that it isn’t riddled with ads. Life is too short to put up with that.
Indeed, big time difference between the two approaches!
That’s exactly why I stay Also, the fact of my home is Apple everything
Every time that I use any of my Apple TV 4Ks I can't get past the horrible interface AKA TVOS

Yeah thats a good idea. My HDMI cable is a CHONKER.
Great round-up!
I wish there was a new Nvidia Shield TV!
Long overdue!

We feel the disappointment at the outdated mediatek chipset.

I hear ya. The differences between the GTV Streamer and the Inn are really minor and half the cost!
I wish you would've included the Roku ultra in your review
Yeah after I was knee deep in this, I wished the same. Another time perhaps! Thanks for watching!
