I upgraded the speakers from the OEM speakers on the LT trim with 6 speakers and 2 tweeters to Alpine S Series speakers.

Does the stereo sound louder with upgraded speakers?

@TopHatPlus thanks! Looking to upgrade but not sure how many ohms the oem speakers are. I've gone with aftermarket 4ohm speakers before, and they don't end up being louder because of the resistance. That's good to know
