I love how bosco claims to be a side character i dont recall side characters being featured for over 100+ consecutive episodes Sounds like a roll for a Main Character
Fun Theory: Borky will gain an Aspect by giving Gripples enough statues to reach 100% success rate. Like the next statue unlocks something pulses within Gripples and the next day the remaining statues start going crazy. Gripples itself remains fine, but the realize the only way to stop the statue s for Gripples to absorb it. This awakens something in Gripples and it reveals to Borky that as its power grows so too does the destructive power of the remaining statues putting them on the clock to stop them before they do untold damage. Then once it has full power it's revealed it was an Aspect deeping some sort of Destructive being at bay. (It's vocal quirk is still talking like Gripples did.) Everytime it exploded the Destructive being's power escaping and the failure was when the Aspect kept the power contained within a barrier ability. Defeating the Destructive being means Borky loses out on Gripples explosive powers, but the aspect helps protect him from harm.
Panic’s part was so impressive as well, it’s hard to see him and Hellina so scared because I love them both so much but this is exactly what they need to grow. Whatever comes of this their bond will be stronger for it
And Borky’s scene was so much fun! It’s great to see Taka get a chance to let loose and get silly again since he didn’t have as much opportunities while plane hopping
I was telling my dad about this during the stream, and I came to the part about the orcs dealing with the dwarves. As I was explaining it, my brother chimed in "so they really orc-estrated that very well, eh?" And I just stopped. And I looked at him. And I just started clapping, because that pun was amazing. The best pun he ever made.
Honestly I can’t wait until they replace Remy’s guest slot with someone else, he’s good and all but we do need to free up the party for some new blood. Heh, he’s been around so long though, it’s almost like he’s not going anywhere. But that’s absurd, heck, isn’t like the guy is a main character right? OH MY HEAVENS!!!! REMY’S GOT A STORY ARC! AND FREAKING MEL IS GETTING SOME ATTENTION TOO!!! I personally hope the mel thing is a smaller quest that’s for lower level peoples. So we can see everyone just walk in and casually bash some stuff with no problems like the super powered heroes they are. Of course leading into Remy’s side character development arc so he’s more fleshed out in the world.

Because of my completely reasonable request at 3:25:10 Monty has decided to punish me for my hubris and had challenged me to count how many times twitch chat had said "No!" or "Oh?" During this episode. "No!" or other similar words were spoken 23 times. "Oh?" or other similar words were spoken 11 times. Overall, not as much as I expected, but an hour through, I had noticed that "Oh no" was being posted in chat far more frequently than either of the words I was assigned with. But at that point I didn't want to go back to the start and begin again. Apparently, I was wrong last week when I was talking about Greckles' Reliable Talent, I said that times when this ability isn't used when it could would be frequent, but Gaijin appears to have managed to set roll20 to automatically consider Reliable Talent as you can see from Greckles' two rolls after 1:10:24. Also, a lot of people are saying that Remy's section is a plot hook for a future character arc for him but this clearly isn't the case because, as we all know, Remy isn't a main character.
This episode was sooo gooooood!!! everyone did such a great job with the roleplay and I was so into it all. Panic's bit hurt my heart, i kept thinking "just tell her straight you idiot!" while biting my lip, though I am glad he had someone to talk to afterwards to try and figure that shit out. Borky's part made me laugh and it was an appreciated levity to the heaviness that had been happening. And Remy... Remy... I about cried i was sooo happy for him. Not gonna lie I kinda called it forever ago (both the location and possible hindrance right after he gave the backstory of his mia father), but Bosco did such a good job i was so in the moment I didn't care that my writer brain had already spoiled it. Monty, I don't know if you read these (maybe bosco or connor can ask for me) but I'm re-listening to the show (3rd time's the charm!!) and I just got past them hiring Luistrog and Neragan, but they interviewed a samurai named Ken whose Lord had died. He said the name of his lord was Hiro... which is the name you gave Greckle's dad. Are they the same person? I don't know if timeline-wise that works, but it has been bugging me for a solid week.

Also, am I the only one who sees how fucked up that he uses the situation that Solly is in to manipulate her into loving him? I just wish that Monty would stop forcing everyone in Alivast to have another side to the story and to have a sad backstory. Having a sad past or going through tough times doesn’t justify you to be a corrupt politician or an asshole who hurts people like Tiengo, the Silver King, or the council. I’m just saying, maybe have actual consequences and have an arc where Brorc betrays Alivast to the Orin clergy so he can forcefully have Solly as his bride, since he knows that she’ll never be his and wants Greckles instead. Also, maybe call out Lys for all the shit he’s doing, like manipulating people and events to happen so he can regain his power. I would not be surprised if it turns out that he is behind the god cancer infecting the gods so he can make excuses to gather the other aspects and become the dominant personality in the reformed god. He could have betrayed the old creator god because of how he would help mortals without asking for anything in return. What do you guys think?
