Another really great video, and the editing is really good! I wish I would have known about this place before I was poor. :) I have a feeling that this will be a great video for people searching for information about staying there. In fact I'm going to look for information about this resort and see how it shows up in different search engines. Thanks you two!
And thanks for the info regarding the dog area. I can't believe they haven't even fenced in the area yet. Good to know as we have a small dog and she needs to come with if we ever make it there.
Appreciate your video! I have to agree with your observations. The website is a mess. They delayed the opening a year and they had all this time to proof that website for all glitches. I have looked at the booking features for the rooms and RV spaces. Reviewed the prices. No where could I find information on cancellation fees or policies. I looked and looked. As I made a faux booking this information should pop up. It doesn't. I emailed them and asked. I was given a link to a web page with these policies. I was in shock of the 30-day notice for cancellations and no refunds. I thought am I reading this right. I had my husband, who is a lawyer read through it. Yep, that's what it says. So again I go to the home page and look and look for this policy page. I make a faux booking and it's still not on any page. Their page I was emailed seems to be sitting on it's own website page but not accessible from a regular web visitor's view. I noticed many conflicts of information as you also noticed. It is a MOTEL not a HOTEL which they seem to use both on their social media, ads, and website. I know nobody probably cares but it's a pattern and carelessness. And will be seen else where. I just don't trust there will be good management now just like before. So yep don't have high expectations, it's kind of like going to Mexico. You're on your own and they'll make the rules as they please. But I really don't appreciate their 30-day notice cancelation fee and hiding that. We won't book ahead if we do go. It will be last minute. And the food and beverage rule I also noticed but makes no sense. Are they going to check your cooler you pack into the hotel room? I mean if they can't even stock the grocery store for basics...Some of us are on strict diets and need our own food.
Thanks for watching! You were able to find the cancellation policy - we were not. We did not cover that in the video because we could not find it and didn't want to give bad information. Thanks for including that in your comments, because it will help others who are looking for that. They have lots to do to get this squared away. Not sure if they will or not. Of course, like I said at the end, if you take kids or grandkids, they wont care about any of this because they will have fun playing at the pool and around the grounds with their friends and cousins. We are going to go again at some point and take our grandkids. We will see what improvements they have made and make a follow up video on it.
It depends on if you are staying in the motel or teepees or RV park, but pretty close either way. Yes, too much for many families with kids. Thanks for watching!
We are too! We plan to go back and take our grandkids and see what has been fixed. Probably next spring. We will do a follow up video. Thanks for watching!
Great Video. This is the first detailed view I have seen of the newly re-opened resort. The resort looks GREAT and I wish the tribes much success!
@@skypros Thanks for watching and for the kind words!

Yes! When we go again we are going to look for this specifically, because we will take our dog again also.

We are waiting for things to settle but I will say that $275.00 is a lot for 2 people to swim and use a cabana for 1 day
Thanks for watching! Yes, the cost is going to be prohibitive for some people.
I loved this video! Great info but I can't believe you people didn't take me! 😮😂

Another great video! Please include more footage of the dog, and less of Jim in the next one.

Sounds like a typical family staying for the weekend will drop $1000 for their basic amenities. For middle class, it's out of my price range.
