Enjoying this channel!!! Has a nice vibe and the boas are gorgeous ❤. I love how you just have a bunch of paper and scraps in the cage. Looks cozy and hidey. And hey, recycling!!!!!
Thanks for watching, Hunter. Yes, the paper is a good hack. I keep all my boas with lots of paper clutter. Specifically with pregnant females, paper it better than hide boxes or heavy objects because it makes them less likely to accidentally crush the papers.
You need big cages to breed these. When there are 2 animals in there, there is 13-14 foot of snake in the cage. These are the T25 animal plastics. 6 x 2.5 x 18. It's a good size because it's almost as much floor space as an 8x2 cage, but it doesn't take up as much wall space. Wall space is a premium in most reptile rooms. I can also get 4 high, instead of 3 high with a 2 foot tall cage. I'd order them with double ventilation.
Beautiful baby Guyana’s. I got my first Boa about 6 months ago and on the care form it says she is a Guyana. She has all the markings of a true BCC Guyana peaked Batman down her back eye lash markings but her tail is more of a chocolate brown and black some real dark maroon. Have you ever seen other true BCC Guyana’s that don’t have bright red tails?
There are many factors in determining the species. Not all BCC have bright red tails. If you bought her from a reputable source, I'd believe what they told you.
Congrats!
Thanks, Bob!

Got to love that maternal instinct 😅 Congrats on the new litter. What the size on those cages? are those the 72x 30 x 18?
Yes they are! Thanks for watching. This litter was last fall.
Was wondering the same lol they look huge... I'm waiting for an AP cage with same measurements but it'll probably take a year knowing Animal Plastics
