The MLB can use a very simple peel strength test on the spit. Use a pressure tape that changes color based on the strength during peel. If it's greater than some threshold, they're out. If not, they're in. It would take me an hour to create this system lol

I think MLB should use a baseball like NPB (Japan). It's tackier, and slightly smaller. Might even lead to fewer injuries, both to pitchers and batters

@@williamreynolds3487 how? I’m not sure of any test that you can perform that will yield results in a timely manner. Pitching ninja suggested something to measure stickiness, but I’m not sure that would be practical. Do you have any ideas?
When players get ejected BEFORE they play, it just looks stupid for the umps AND the players AND MLB.
MLB says no sticky stuff but gives no testing methods or measurements. Rosin and sweat are OK, but rosin is sticky and sweat is slick. Umpires randomly throw out pitchers.

For pros, you would think catchers would know how to frame pitches better. Hey geniuses, move the mitt just enough to make it a strike! When you yank the ball 12 inches to middle middle, it looks like your framing a ball, which you are. But it’s not supposed to LOOK LIKE YOU ARE!!!
