Don't Lose Progress in Dead Space 3

- Some people have been complaining about losing progress in Dead Space 3. I believe the likely culprit is a misleading save system that saves inventory separately from progress, but uses the same icon for both. This is just a quick little warning video showing you the slight difference between the two so you won't, in fact, lose any progress.

Incredible. I came here to find out what had gone wrong and this is literally the moment in the game where I lost all my progress. I hit the Inventory Save B.H. showed at the beginning, ran through to the point where the protagonist detonates the bombs and you have to shoot it out, quit to go to bed, and found myself back with the two Regenerators! Seriously annoyed.

Just had this happen to me with the conning tower side mission. Literally go set back to the beginning of it after finishing it and selecting "save and quit". So stupid. I hate the conning tower one too. So many traps and quarantine rooms. sucks.
Actually I just discovered that it set me back to the sequence with the ubermorphs and fending them off while waiting for the tram but saved my progress with conning tower. So I wasted resources on redoing that sequence but still had all my stuff from conning tower. Better but still dumb.

I was probably gonna play this game for the whole game until my game crashed... and when i restarted it i went back to the part were i had to survive until the train came i lost a hour worth of weapons and items
same dude, i got into the train and escaped the regen guys, then played for an hour, reached that environmental part and quit then when i started it again it came back to when i had to board the train after defeating the regen guy

Thought I'd boot this game up after seeing the remake and started replaying. And this exact thing happened to me at this moment. Well, that's a replay that's not worth my time. Plus inventory management is already at its most boring point. Reminds me why this game doesn't stack up against the first 2.
Right, cool, ok.
But when I go 2 hours and reach the next *2 chapters* whether I'm being confused by the inventory vs chapter save is irrelevant. It's not saving.

I have never seen the words inventory saving on my screen.
I play on my windows 12 Hp and it either automatically kicks me out or freezes. I’m confused

I really didn't RmembR Dead Space 3 being this bad when I played it 10yrs ago...with the weapons bldng & the not being able to manually save really sucks & why have so many slots for saving if you can't use them. 🤷🏾♂️😡

@@irwinyanez3040 pick the next option it's either CONTINUE STORY or CONTINUE FROM LAST SAVE, if the 1st one doesn't work don't SAVE AND QUIT, turn off the application then restart it up again and then choose the next pption
Guys ! the SAVE is easy ……. Just pause the game - with the 3 - bars on the control , NOT THE X bottom - and will appear the PAUSE MENU with 5 options , the fifth are - [ PAUSE AND QUIT ]
That only saves your inventory.
