They're a very good live band. I saw them in Minot, North Dakota of all places. The dude climbed at the very top of the stage. I thought the local police were going to have a conniption! LOL
I personally like the live version better. It just seems so much more emotional especially when the crowd sings the chorus. Real talent comes from the heart, and Raine did a mighty fine job.
pearl jams great live too but im keeping put with dmb... they make each concert so unique... and its very rare that a singer sounds better live than in studio(dave matthews)
Have u ever really listened to Pearl Jam? There's not too many bands out there nowadays that u could say r "better" than pearl jam, OLP certainly not being one of them... Musically PJ is simply superior (especially compared to the candy floss that OLP comes out with these days...) Mind u they are completely different styles of music... so to compare them in the first place might be kinda unfair lol
I like old olp and all... but he lets the audience sing the bulk of the song? I prefer studio album, he seems lame in this. I go to concerts expecting THEM to sing the whole thing. Nobody pays me to.
