Rob Thomas (lead singer) wrote this about dealing with his mother who had cancer, and dealing with the pain and erratic thoughts and behaviors.
Rob Thomas didn't write this song hes the frontman for Matchbox 20. Raine Maida is Our Lady Peace's singer.
duh, sorry didn't realize there was 2 songs in the vid.
I love how he gets into the music. You’re a great couple to share a song with
Our Lady Peace 🇨🇦 was one of my favourite bands as a teen...they actually have a lot of songs worth checking out. I would recommend Thief, Automatic Flowers, Somewhere Out There...
This made me really nostalgic!! 💕
LITTERALLY same 🇺🇸. I was obsessed with them in highschool ( mid 30s now). And the lead singer, Raine Maida was such a babe!
How good is Rob Thomas voice🔥🔥
4 AM is really a song about Raine Maida's relationship with his father. His name is Anthony Maida, so the song is wordplay; For AM. With a phone call, Raine realizes how much he loves his dad even though life is so troubling at many times.
If this song resonates with you, I absolutely recommend the song Thief by Our Lady Peace.
Love Matchbox 20,they have so many awesome songs for you to react to. Can you please do a reaction to their song If You're Gone or Smooth by the lead singer Rob Thomas and the great Carlos Santana? Thanks for a great reaction!! You are both Awesome!! 🙂
5\5 wholesome content.
You should react to our lady peace “Naveed”
Rob has such a good voice an very mature lyrics you have too have lived a life too truly understand him
Song was about his mouth mom!
It's weird for me to watch a reaction video involving two of my all-time favorite songs back to back.
I would guess you'd likely hadn't heard Raine Maida's voice before so it was fascinating listening to what this song and his voice evoked in you.
I wasn't really in love with 3 am until I heard it acoustic, as the lyrics work better for me in a less polished form. Though, Counting Crows? I really don't hear that comparison.
Number 1!
