I’ve been heavily considering this mic but I’ve had some bad experiences with deity which has caused major trust issues with me lol. The built in “pop filter” sounds promising though. You said that the mic , cuts out surrounding noises, so shooting in the rainforest full of pleasing noises all around would be difficult with this mic, right? It's more for vocal capture?
Not necessarily, it helps to focus on your voice but if you’re in nature,which is quite loud, it will capture that. The off axis coloration is better in studio, so wouldn’t really apply to vlogging.

I made a video about the Movo VXR10 Pro and actually Movo uses it in their Amazon commercial. LOL. I'm not paid by either company. They're both really great mics. Deity is a little smaller and lighter and has the angled cables so that it doesn't obstruct your lcd flip screen. They both have a really nice raw sound too. I like the Deity just a little more but like I said either one is good.
Nice review. Would you recommend this over Movo VXR10 pro? I like having a bit of ambience sound without noise as I'm mostly shooting nature. Also. I have heard about audio popping issues in windy situations with the Deity D4 duo. Are those issues present in this Mini?
No this is totally different from the duo. Here’s the thing, the Movo and the Deity are the same price , the Deity has an extra 3.5 input that the Movo doesn’t have. The Movo has a mic Jack that the Deity doesn’t have. You would have to consider which one is more important to you. They both have the same polar patterns but I think the Deity sounds a little more flat, which is actually better if you eq your finished audio. The Movo has a slight bump in the high end.

All I want is low noise, good straight out of camera audio with decent ambience sound and vocals, reliability in harsh environments as I will be shooting mostly at high altitudes. Which one do you suggest?

I want it, to replace my rode video micro, that would go great with my setup when I want to input my MPC One onto camera and still have the mic directly into camera as well.

No, I took the audio from the right channel only. Lav audio is better when you put it directly in front of your mouth but I just put it on my collar. LOL. I’m actually pretty good on the Onewheel. Just the field had hidden holes in it
