Let us not forget that their gene-seed is from the Emperor himself, and seeing as how the other chapters' gene-seed is from THEIR primarchs, we can technically say that the Emperor is the Primarch of the Grey Knights.
There is only one army that can lay claim to the title of "The Emperor's Legion". They are called The Ten Thousand. The Brotherhood of Demigods. The Watchers of the Throne. The Golden Legion. The Adeptus Custodes.
@El ronin caído yeah, that got recently confirmed within the past like..year or two. It's purified Thousand Sons geneseed. Check the date of the comment man.
"I am the hammer, I am the right hand of the Emperor, the instrument of His will, the gauntlet about His fist, the tip of His spear, the edge of His sword!"
There could be a 10 hour video with nothing but the grey knights walking down an endless hallway with epic music and I would watch it all the way through.
Ultramarines werent even in the Istvann 5, they got some beating on Calth but that made them more manly so they beat Word Bearers with their hands. Imagine: A vast field, dozens of Ultramarines fisting enemy titans to scrap metal with their bare hands. GOD DAMN EPIC, Im gonna write this in the next codex. Thanks mate.
The Blood Angels fought them to a standstill and the Black Templars sent them packing short a tombship, as I recall, and this was when they were led by their greatest leaders. Guard can hold them off, as Gen Sturn proved, but as with Nid invasions, enough of them can overwhelm them.
Eldar rarely mess with anyone without good reason, Necrons usually only win if they either encounter small groups or that force is on a Tomb World. As for Tau...They say that the Gue'la can't prevail agains the Greater Good, the Guardsman replies with "and you can't prevail against the weight of my tank." There's a reason they're still stuck in the backwater corner of the galaxy.
They are psychic because they focus their powers into a shield that protects their souls from corruption, this has the same effect that a blank has and causes Daemons pain too. They also focus some of their power into their weapons and into the wards implanted under their skin, it makes the weapons more effective against Daemons and helps protect their physical bodies if the wards in their armour is breached.
@FalseHell /watch?v=WsZN6asccAE heres the full soundtrack i found on youtube however unfortuantly it doesn't give the name of the soundtrack but you could still download the video into an mp3 file anyways so no problem there :)
It is called "power Armor" for a reason, in all the books they describ the weiring and hissing sounds of gyros and hydralics, their bio-enhancment and extra organs are to make them more resiliant, their black carapace allows them to directly connect to the power armor, it's... quite commonly known throughout the lore of 40k
"I am the hammer, I am the right hand of the Emperor, the instrument of His will, the gauntlet about His fist, the tip of His spear, the edge of His sword."
BTW...for the record, those Battle Brothers are wearing Aegis Tactical Dreadnought armour (Terminator)...nice and sculpted unlike the rest of the Astartes Terminator armour.
As a Englishman, Seeing how Big the Imperial Domain is, A change of Accent once in a while is fine. After all, seeing the Range of Accents on one World is enough to show the Differences that could arise in pronouncing low Gothic across the Vastness of the cold Void.
They should have just spoken the book. What is it; I am the Hammer, I am the tip of His spear. I am the mail about His fist, I am the sword in His Hand. I personally think the best Space Marine voice I've heard thus far is from the first Exterminatus video from Dawn of War 2: Retribution. "In service to the God-Emperor (our undying Lord), and by the grace of the Golden Throne I declare Exterminatus upon the Imperial World of Typhon Primaris."
Which Legion do the Grey Knights belong to. I just started reading War Hammer novels around the beginning of this year, cant get enough now. Having come across Grey Knights before.
You make a valid point. However, I am of Undivided affiliation - Me mentioning the flames of Tzeentch was a counter to him mentioning the flames of "righteousness". ... *Hiss*
Black Templars ambushed them after a devastating defeat which cost Helbretch an arm.I think loosing a planet and winning a toombship which is easily replaced kinda doesn't even out.
Necrons can't replace tombships or the tombworlds they've been known to lose, but the Imperium can resettle planets and make more Space Marines. Besides, Black Templars only number somewhere around 9000 or so.
Please be aware that ANYONE not important enough (lord militant, inquisitor, chapter master)that comes in contact with the grey knights is to be executed immediately or have their memories wiped if they are space marines.
@054khj2911 My thoughts on the Grey Knights is that anything uses them that isn't exclusively about them should have them super units exclusive to a certain mode.
Pretty much the grey knights are the only "chapter" that can fight demons of the warp. Hell even there name can hurt a demon. So regular space marines CAN kill a demon but not with out a crap loss of deaths.
Astartes Power Armor is enhanced. While yes, no normal man without the geneseed of the Primarch could don such a powerful relic, the Power itself has may systems in place and it's own machine spirit. Amongst other things, the the Astarte armor enhances the Adeptus' already impressive strength, aids in monitoring and regulating his biology, is vacuumed sealed to allow him to survive in space, enhancing his senses along with his geneseed, and suppresses recoil. And those are the baseline.
Oh,he did quite a lot, like beating Magnus to near death, forcing the most powerful psyker among the Primarchs to join Tzeentch. He did his fair share of fucking the Imperium.
The Warhammer 40k universe is seriously one of the best out there. I would easily say that it rivals Tolkien's and I wish that it would get a little more attention. Read the wiki all the time.

@@Lord_Kantor that has definitely not been confirmed. Don’t make shit up
We all know that warhammer has the most epic universe off all!
and one of the suckest universes to live in
Very epic. Somewhat derpy.

The sound of a Lance of the grey knights is enough to send all deamons running.
i love how grey knights are incorruptable :)
Space Marines: The Gods and Legends of the Imperium
Grey Knights: The Gods and Legends of the Space Marines. Need I say more?
Task Force Manticore - OLD custodes *HOLD MY HOLY FLASK*
grey knights are not gods compared to marines, they are normal astartes themselves, only uncorruptable and with psychic abilities.
@@gustavobalieiro5079 They have the emperor's blood in them
And are much faster, stronger, and smarter than regular space marines
However, the black templars are superior to them

Ah, good ol Squad Command. A good game that suffered from lack of content.
I love the cutscenes in this game, so epic.
makes me want to praise the Emperor
The Emperor is their Master. Draigo would be the first to say so.
I in my life time have seen and done epic shit. This music truly inspires and captured the emotion I felt

Why I keep coming back to this?! TOO MUCH AWESOMENESS! CAN NOT RESIST!
I wish the announcer had that Warhammer 40K pseudo-British accent. But man those Grey Knights Terminators make up for it all with all their badassery
Words cannot even begin to describe how epic i think this video is! ^^
We need to drop a squad of these guys into Congress.
The Last Roman lol 😂😂😂😂😂 dude that is thing I’ve ever red, though we need so in our parliaments cabin..lol
this video is total epicness!
Grey knights are one of my favorites in 40k.

grey knights are like the health and safety inspectors of the 41st millennium
they do take extreme casualties and are trained and armed specifically to comabt demons. they knew what they were up against.
unleashed mental power - unbreakable
JUST EPIC !

I thought some could manufacture new seeds, but it was a dangerous process and could lead to defects and was thus a big "no no" for the most part.

Grey Knights rock. The biggest badasses in the history of forever.
Demons would be contending with far worse than Grey Knights they would be dealing against the Adeptus Custodes.
