I'm not worried. I know my voice actors and their talent is incredible, you included, eventually that talent will be mimicked by AI. Keyword mimicked. They will never be able to create the experience that talented and skilled voice actors can create.

Producers and engineers will only defend you to a point; when the corporate bosses insist on saving the money, you’ll be out. Consumers will learn to accept an inferior product (like they’ve accepted “auto-tuned” singers) and life will go on.
Amazing video man, AI definitely has a place in the industry if we're knowledgeable about it. I believe that it can be incredibly beneficial if it's used to help us talents rather than hurt us. While it may be in the wrong hands of people who are using it to REPLACE creators, in the right hands it can be utilized as a tool to SUPPORT creators instead! Just imagine, AI used to give reference/context to a scene for voice actors in recording sessions. Or used to translate dialogue in dubbing foreign work so that playback in a foreign language doesn't confuse the voice actor. There are SO MANY useful ways to implement it that won't hurt anyone! However we unfortunately have to protect ourselves from it for the moment given that it's so commonly used as a destructive weapon rather than a helpful tool.
And it actually gives more jobs to fames voice actors so they can be in multiple movies animes and get payed for them just to use there amazing voice multiple projects and maybe with a.i they can finally dub all of one piece in multiple languages with this technology 😅

"Hey, Joe. Sorry, gonna have to lay you off. We got this new AI voice that doesn't sound like you so you can't sue us and we're gonna use it for the next upcoming games to replace your character. We don't need you anymore."
Did Someone ever mentioned that voice acting for cartoons and anime is "one note" and holding both art forms back in a big way since half a century minimum? Almost every time voice actor and the art directon of them can not help themselves to overact and make everything "cartoony" af. This never helps bring forward any profound artistic message or adult thoughts and expressions. Of course there are Myasaki and good Disney Movies. But even the Simpsons or South Park for example could be so much more powerful with a more subtile approach. I still like both artforms as they are right now, but a little more variety would be nice from time to time. Just my two cents...
@Boopy357 Yes. But the intent is bad. Why whould any real artist be happy creating lesser forms of art than he could? I find this very disappointing. Animation is inherently limitless in what it can do. And so little is achieved with that potential.
The only advantage I can see on this is most poor individuals or those people who stayed at home doing whatever they want on the internet (mostly at the side of creatives and animating shorts, especially the indie creatives) can come up something obscurely creative for the sake of memes and entertainment. Much like YTP, and those GMOD videos they can potentially make things funnier and gives more fluidity to their creative direction if they properly utilize the ai voice generator. And of course, because either they had a job or not high chances are they won’t spend something that big compare to the bigger budget of bigger studios like they can only afford below $1000 or something but sadly, in due respect for that reality I can see why people can object about these voice generators in a way they weren’t properly all given consent about this like a leech market. And by new laws, this will become a downside in the future and no one wants to condone stealing if you know your moral rights. But then again if there’s anything I’m concerned about, giving these privileges can be potentially harmful in a way we try to avoid long cuts to labor and doing the most shortcut thing possible.
The generation that grew up with garbage compressed audio from headphones actually prefer that quality. The generation that will grow up with AI VA will accept that because will be the only thing that is available because the rich trash can save a few pennies they clearly don’t need.
What type of VO role do you usually hire? Narrator, animation, character, documentary, audiobook, video narration, etc. Maybe I can help you with that? I handle multiple voiceover artist. Different range of ages, voice styles, and languages. You interested?
Everything in this age is cheap, artificial, synthetic versions of the real thing. E.g. margarine imitates butter. Another example is musical instruments. When composer wants low cost, they use synthetic instruments, autotune for singers, etc. But there's always a niche market for the real thing, because any person can tell the difference between margarine and butter
And with this, everyone loses their right to voice acting or anything in their lives, because AI is going to take over the world and destroy it beyond repair.
As I learned in my profession: your replacement doesn’t need to match all of your abilities, and doesn’t need to be as good. It simply needs to come close and cost a lot less. The clients will push for it and the consumers will learn to accept it as the new normal.
In the case of stolen voices as some actors are worried about, this is gonna get regulated at some point and you can already sue as it is. Studios are gonna hire you for your voice model in the future which is probably gonna make your income go up quite a bit and in some cases get you perpetual royalties. Don't fight this if you know what good for you just keep a close eye (or ear) because not everyone will be working with copyright laws in mind.
@@mamandapanda185 i could’ve phrased that a little better, I’m just saying that they’re wouldn’t be any market for immetations like what a lot of meme channels do. Azzers for example.
Eh... sorry, but voice actors are, indeed, doomed. AI is becoming better and better at it, and sometimes I see dubbed videos using the ORIGINAL VOICE of the character in other languages. But then again if there’s anything I’m concerned about, giving these privileges can be potentially harmful in a way we try to avoid long cuts to labor and doing the most shortcut thing possible.
what about people that lost their manual labor jobs to automation, this is just that. people choosing greed over innovation is crazy to me
You can have the one good voice actor interacting with AI is good enough Nvidia gaming
When a nation dealing with civil war and government corruption is in better shape than the nation focused on justice that's not a good sign
wtf its my first time here and I thought u were The Smartest Man Alive, Reed Richards
The generation that grew up with garbage compressed audio from headphones actually prefer that quality. The generation that will grow up with AI VA will accept that because will be the only thing that is available because the rich trash can save a few pennies they clearly don’t need.
not fan of A.I but dear god.... finding a reliable voice actors is near impossible nowadays
Aaaaand Then Real Human Voice Actors Destroy Uberduck!
What a Comeback!
All your base are belong to us 😂
Yeah it looks really bad
Selling a bunch of copium to your clients lmfao. This tech is fairly new and will be perfect in a year or two.
Of course it's some cryptobro idiot is peddling this shit lol.
Japanese anime studios going to fire everybody and do that ai replacement in 3, 2...
Boy are you kidding yourself!
I think voice actors will just have to move to creating original voices instead of copying them
That is what an actor does, though
@@mamandapanda185 i could’ve phrased that a little better, I’m just saying that they’re wouldn’t be any market for immetations like what a lot of meme channels do. Azzers for example.
@@Bruh86457dubs will probably be taken over too, because ya know…
Eh... sorry, but voice actors are, indeed, doomed. AI is becoming better and better at it, and sometimes I see dubbed videos using the ORIGINAL VOICE of the character in other languages. It is exponential, it is inevitable, and no amount of crying or "strikes" will change that. And I am not saying it as someone happy to see people out of jobs, but the future is coming. And coming FAST.
Every time I hear a generated voice on a vid, I click off. It offends me as a VA.
All jobs will be replaced by machines. No one can stop it.
Good
