Glad you didn't put music to this video. The ol' 7.3 makes all the music we need!
Well if you like listening to the sound of a person farting in a can! Junk motors shating them selves the hole time!
Very nice. I remember growing up doing that with a shovel and wheel barrel.
I really appreciate the time spent in making these videos. They are highly professional and I have learned a lot! Thank you!!
Great video ! Love the new 4K shots makes a huge difference !
Thx for taking your time to video!
I don't know why that was satisfying to watch
looking good my friend
Good work!
Well done! Agree with everyone else, nice to watch a video without extra music added to it.
nice trailer and nice spreading of the gravel.
Beautiful spread.
That was awesome 😂. That trailer did a pretty slick job of it my brother!!!
Makes me miss my old 7.3. God knows I could've bought 3 of em with all the $ I've dumped into my 6.0. Nice work tho.
That's impressive
Nice!!!
Damn nice Job
Hell yeah nice job, how much did you open on the bottom to have that nice smooth amount of material come out
Man that was pretty!
That's impressive.
Love the quality of the video, but nothing beats that sexy Ford pulling the trailer, haha.
Love the spreading
Finally someone who knows how to spread it....
This style of video is pretty cool. It's nice to watch a video without the annoying cookie cutter club music some other channels have.
James Culbertson thanks for the feedback man, really appreciate it
I think he means 30 ton over several loads not at one time!
Mdb finally someone with a fricken Brain!
Do you need to compact it at all? Or just leaving it is good?
Badass
Good job . In my opinion I believe your hauling 4 to 6 yards of gravel per load .Just looking at the trailer being a double axle with probably 7000 Lbs axles .It looks like your on the west coast .It can get pretty wet out that way . If you would have used a bigger unit like a dump truck you may have caused damage the existing driveway .I guess when it dried up some you wold have levelled the driveway out .And used a packer to get a good seal to the driveway . Of course this is up to the client if they are willing to pay for the costs !
Nice even spread. I wonder how fast you were going while spreading 🤔
What speed do you drive away at, after you open the back?
How far open is the tail gate? How many inches or chain lengths?
I’m willing to bet you’ve done this a few times!
Just a couple ha....love your username 😁
Hey I'm looking to buy a truck like that..how many tons can you haul legally or how much can it carry?
Thats more like 6 tons spreads real nice.
What you need is a deck over dump trailer it will dump steeper also won't hit the ground
Good.
7.3👍👍
How much will the dump trailer hold? Nice video thanks
14k lbs....thanks man 👍
Did the badge on the side of the truck say "F Superduty"? 🤣 😂 🤣 😂
How do you go on pricing
Maybe get some drainage installed then use stone
..?? Looks awfully wet
How many miles do you have on your dump truck? Also, is it a manual?
ilike2mow yeah it it
cool
When it came to that hill. Should have done it coming down instead of spinning. Just a thought.
What camera you using?
I believe it was the Sony A6400 at the time
Should have spread from the top down. Or used a 4x4 for the hill section.
Just curious the price difference in hauling the gravel yourself vs hiring a guy with a tandem dump to do it?
The cheapest I have found was $100 to truck 25 tons of gravel 1.5 miles while putting in my pole barn. That was cheap in my area. That did not include the price of the material. He just gave me a deal that day as his truck was sitting idle at the gravel pit. I can run my dump trailer for just the price of fuel for my truck. Takes much longer obviously, but does save a ton of money on trucking.
It's way cheaper to haul it yourself. You're mostly paying for the truck to deliver it. Gravel cost almost nothing really. However, I probably would still get a dump truck if I need a lot of gravel because it would take too long in my dump trailer. For smaller jobs it's great though.
Unless you're using a dump to make money, buying one just to haul your own gravel makes NO financial sense. You can have 5 ton delivered for 50 bucks plus the cost of the gravel. You would never recoup the cost of the trailer.
An old fashioned way of chip seal and bitimous pavement,
Yes 30 tons in several loads because that trailer probably holds 8 yards tops at roughly 1 ton per yard
It holds more like 5 yards
Is that a 5 ton trailer
7 ton
never liked the dual wheel I would rather have a 3500 4x4 low range single wheel
Honestly, I like it way better with the music. Every now and then is fine like this video but when you're mowing or trimming it feels the need for music. And of all the lawn care channels I watch, yours always has the best music that fits perfectly in each video. You should just try and upgrade/get more cameras and maybe get a drone instead of worrying about the music. It'd be awesome to see some drone shots of your work.
That`s a Cummins, never heard a 7.3 sound like that
Definitely a 7.3 sounding truck !!
30 tons!!! hahahahaha guess we won't be hiring YOU
Doug Copson over all.. not in one load.. guess we won't be hiring you
Silly boys!! Those are prbly 5 ton loads
Hey man not to be mean but I love your videos but it's just you need a four-wheel-drive truck that needs to be happening ASAP
He's bought a 4wd truck... personally, I would've just got a bucket of gravel in the truck over the axle for a bit of traction 😉
Locked 2x4 = open 4x4, tested, many, many years ago.
That's not 30 tons that little trailer couldn't handle that kind of weight at one time.
wow, you're pretty special
You'r mom thinks so
Nice, but absolutely no way that little load weighs 60,000 pounds. Maybe 5 tons or 6 tons, max....
tydp1 Did you ever think that it's more than 1 load... obviously it is...can't understand dumb people
Idiot
Nobody can be this stupid... Oh wait. My bad. I guess they can.
Not all in one load man! Over the course of the video the guy hauled 30 ton of gravel.
