Jin is strong but he isn't perfect. He has his fair share of weaknesses (stubby arms, no Oki etc.) and good strengths but I think this video puts it best. The most important term to understand here is "option select". From Infil's FG glossary:
A situation where performing the same inputs can lead to several different outcomes depending on how the characters interact. Often abbreviated as "OS".
In this video for example there's a lot of sidestep duck or backdash to cover multiple options.
The other term is "fuzzy guard", which is also an option select. Again from the glossary:
A technique where you try to change your block very precisely in order to cover multiple directions.

Jim hasn’t been good since Tekken 3, that’s why devil Jin out classes him in every other Tekken game after.

Though yeah there will be a greater focus on longform guides again when T8 drops.

Side note: If I can beat you with a difficult character like jin, I can beat you with anyone else besides either akuma or yoshi, cope harder

He's definitely among the strongest in the cast. These aren't easy strategies imo as they require a lot of reads and downloading. only lower level Jin players limit their moveset and use flowcharts, from what i've seen, except for zen transitions which are everywhere.

Such a braind**d character, ff3 neutral on block, forces crouch on opponent(plus ait has follow ups)AND a low launcher which cannot be backdashed to wavedash unlike other characters, I can go on like that with other 20 moves. There are people that seriously think he is hard while he has everything, is not complex, you can choose whatever playstyle you want or need.

Some people think he is hard Just because of ewgf and f4 rawcombo. Thing is very strong without ewgf, and f4 stance cancel combo still Pretty good, f4 d2 is decent and 45dmg iirc.
Also is not "hard" to practice X hours in practice mode.

He’s heard cuz of his lack of range and linear. And have to use his moves correctly. He doesn’t crush a lot of moves besides with zen really. Literally hwo and many other characters with strings are braindead u just get smoked

jin mains will be spamming 2 moves and 3 command throws and call this hardcore gaming
most people have average reaction speed and that cannot be changed, characters with 3 different command throws will always be the reason why you'll never be even remotely good at this game
