I just noticed the hands grabbing Rasputin. The people trying to get to him, use him, but Ana is the only one acknowledging him, not as a tool, as a person.
@@yagashio I've been wondering what the art meant and both answers make sense, I just don't know which is correct. Yagashio, your take on it is cooler and more interesting though in my opinion
@@cosmicchorus9898 yeah, yagashio's comment does make sense. Someone in the season of the Seraph (can't remember who) said that everyone tried to use him as a tool to make themselves some sort of god, like Clovis and even some minions of the darkness, I believe Eramis. Can't remember everything though, I might've messed up something, but still. Ana is the only one who sees Rasputin beyond his original purpose, a being capable of feeling human "feelings", therefore she's the only one who can understand, protect and interact with him like no one else. He is basically her child.
This song has taken on an entirely different tone after Rasputins death. Instead of heroic and powerful, the low horns signalling Rasputins prowess, the might of the god on Mars. Now its bittersweet, what was and what could have been. It sounds somber now, a low chant in honour of Rasputin. Idk, I just like this ost.
The warmind soundtrack has been missed hearing it again honestly has been the biggest highlight with me especially since this is my last season RIP Nokris theme though.
Legends, like, the vault of glass, the darkness, the collapse, Osiris and the vex, saint-14, The Warmind, the crypt. Thorn and The Last Word, the iron lords, the faction wars, six fronts. All legends, going forward with destiny, maybe we’re done with old ‘legends’
one of my favourite parts of the story, the warminds, rasputin, the bray family. i hope ana and elsie become more involved in the future of the light and dark saga, especially after witnessing elsie go through multiple futures to save ana from the darkness (dark future lorebook), i hope ana somehow turns and betrays us in lightfall, joining the witness and the traveler retreating from the last city
I'm so sad we traded Rasputin (this all-knowing, ancient machine ruminating on its failures) for a marvel-tier "oh I save humanity because they make pretty things" story and Nimbus/Lightfall. What an absolute tragedy.
Considering the name of this song is called "Age of Legend" I think it'd be be bad@$$ if you had half of Rasputin's exo face with the red eye along with those red lines glowing in the background
The warmind turning into a peacemind or a growthmind wouldve been better progresses imo defying his original creation, going so far as the opposite direction. Imo raspy git done dirty, real dirty. Such a cool complex entity and they just axed him
It's missing the big horns preamble. It's the same thing in notes, but this is the version that plays on the HELM(especially when he first wakes up and you talk to him. Which I swear was forced the very first time you talk to him on purpose.)
"Goodbye Red, for real this time"
*starts sobbing*

You got it all wrong
It's the Iron Lords trying to kill him for what he did to them
@@arisdrik Not sure how that would fit the entire narrative of the season that Rasputin is more than a weapon.

For me its the other way around people are grabbing him hanging on him leaning on him because he is their hero their best hope

Farewell Rasputin it was good getting to know you and to see you final sacrifice you really saved us all one more time
Prominent woodwind solos are such a rare find in Destiny 2 music, which makes the bassoon chorale at the start all the more beautiful.
That Bassoonist scored some points on this one
The true name of this song is "Age of Legend". He was release in a special ost bundle with another beutiful song named "Anastasia Bray".

i cant find a source for this song under that name, do you have a link for somewhere?
@@ginew07If Neomuna is the caliber for "New Legends" then we're screwed.
My fav song ever from destiny
One of my favorite pieces. 👌
I have been looking for this song since Seraph ended, thank you so much.

Goodbye Red. May your sacrifice be not in vain. 😢 😭
I play this before gambit
Rest in peace Rasputin.
This is season of Seraph OST, no? The tune is slightly different, as it's shorter and has vocals for the big climax.
This is exactly the same as it was back in 2018.

An entire season built around writing out one of the best character's in the game. Godspeed Rasputin, you deserved better than Bungie.
They didn’t make ‘em’ like you anymore, Rasputin.
See you in the Light, my friend.
