How do you think the kapsulite exterior would stand air travel, and being gate checked ? Does it feel very strong, or does it give when you apply pressure to it ? Like if a suitcase were to fall on it.
Thanks for the review. Best real world review I’ve seen thus far.

I personally would be concerned checking it. It feels safe enough thrown in a trunk with gear, but I wouldn't trust it in the bottom of an airplane. That being said, I also have a Kapsule and that I would trust being checked. Plus it has wheels and more storage for clothes so it can really be your whole suitcase. After using this kapsulite for over a month now, I would say I wish it had a smidge more storage space. I can really only barely fit the essentials for most gigs. The kapsule has no issues fitting everything. But I still use the kapsulite for most gigs because it is so small and light. And still sturdy, just maybe not for an airplane in my opinion

Don't check this in! This is semi-hard only. Only good for public transpo - bus and train where you carry it, good for bumps here and there. Bump to the door, bump to other bags. It can definitely stand that.

I was looking at this case for a 6 string with 18mm spacing. I’m not so sure now tho…it’s a nice case tho…..

Yeah I'd think that might be too wide. Can't say for sure since I don't have one, but my 6 string 16mm is a pretty tight fit

GruvGear does have great customer service though so I'd definitely shoot them a message to ask - if you give the exact bass they can probably confirm or deny fitting
