Folks might educate themselves with some cooking skills. I have lived way below the poverty level for decades. I am not some genius, nope! I am a guy who knows how to use a crock pot and cook some dried beans. A 5lb bag of potatoes costs me 2.50$. I slice em up and put em in a 9$ " My mini griddle" I know how to cook rice. Holy mother of pitiful home economics!!! Often the problem isn't that a person doesn't make enough money but rather they are clueless as how to manage their money.
I think the reason people are upset cus he's saying to buy more of his product to those who can barely afford it while he doesn't struggle at all Edit:he's asking people to eat more of his unhealthy food while he may not even do so himself
Samea s the queen who proclaimed "there's no bread, then let them eat cake!" As in, "there's no bread because noone can afford any, so why not just go buy cake?! Plenty of that around!" Ignoring that cake was even more expensive. It's an insult. It's like the rich snobs saying "high gas prices are beating you down? Just go buy an electric car!" Ignoring that if you can't afford gas you absolutely won't be able to afford a new vehicle, let alone an electric one. This is more a "just eat the poor people food" vibe though. But the same condescendingness is still there. That's how ive understood it anyways.
