I was crying watching this very historical place , very solemn, I respect and honored our men and women who fought the war, for our freedom, I remember, my father is 95 years old now, he still remember the war, he always remind us , his children that, his favorite and beloved US general is General Douglas McArthur, thank you for your historical vlog, “ GOD” bless you always
Thank you for watching, Larzie! Yes, you really can't help but get emotional whenever you're reminded of the events that happened during the WWII. ☹️ Your father will always remember those times, and especially the famous line of General McArthur! 😃 God bess you and your father, Larzie! ❤️

You're welcome, Arkhamar71! Indeed! The organizer of the tour also did a great job here! Everything was smoot and stress-free. Every Filipino should visit this place at least once in their lifetime. The history, knowledge, and of course the experience is just priceless. 😃 Thank you for watching sir!
I had given a privileged to visit this historic island called Corregidor/the fortress way back in 2003 and it was one of the most emotional and exciting visit I'd ever had. Honestly, it was not purely the physical structures that made me emotional but the inscriptions/captions of the stations or significant places. From the friendship park to the batteries, to the museum, to the Malinta tunnel, the suicide cliff, the Japanese shrine, etc. you can feel the cruelty of the past war. To the tourists, Corregidor might be an amazing island, but the fact is, it is displayed that war is a costly business that claims thousands/millions of lives, million worth of properties, and made thousands of children orphaned as well as thousands of women widows. THIS IS THE REASON WHY MAN SHOULD DENOUNCE/RENOUNCE WAR FOREVER!
Nobody wants a war, but war is inevitable throughout history. The WPS tension is still ongoing PH president recently visited US president & his Secretary of Defense for bilateral meetings about the region' escalating conflict. Yeah in a nuclear age and more sophisticated weaponries, in military today, those wars in the past are just but a little bucket in the ocean. That's why we want rapture to happen before apocalyptic events happens.
I made it! 2 hours and 12 minutes of watching this very historic and beautiful Corregidor Island that is still in my bucket list to visit... I've seen it now... still I want to feel it! ... soon!!! 🚙🚙🚙
Whew! Didn't expect someone will finish the video! 😃 Thank you so much for watching, RAM's F.M.! Yes, you still need to FEEL it! You'll appreciate the island even more. Go here soon, sir! 😎
@@TourFromHomeTV My grandfather was a WW2 veteran and this video really excites me... felt like I'm one of those riding on AMTRAK ride. And really want to visit Corregidor...
@@TourFromHomeTV My grandfather survived the Bataan Death March. I still remember the brutal and horror stories he told us while they're marching together with thousands of POWs during those time.
@Tour From Home TV, my father was a USAFFE World War II Veteran. Thank you Lord he survived the Death March, now in God's wings '2003'❣️☦🙏😇🥰💐 May their soul rest peacefully in paradise❣️🇺🇸🇵🇭🕊
Thank you for this digital tour! Tinapos ko po! Definitely a must visit place. Kailangan pa din talaga mapagaralan ang history and remember all those who suffered for the freedom we are enjoying now. 🇵🇭🇺🇸
Tour, I missed this one. It didn't show in my notifications, I don't know what's with YT these days. Anyway, thank you so much for the reminiscence. It was gloomy and windy portentous of an incoming storm during our college field trip to Corregidor Island in the early 2Ks. I became a laughing stock to my best-friends after one discovered my bag being full of religious articles such as different angel statues and rosaries during the ferry ride. One fond memory as well was when two lovebirds requested if I can a take a sweet photo of them in which I didn't realise they were already at the edge of the cliff and I kept telling them to move back for a really great backdrop. lol Kidding aside, this is definitely the most definitive and clear tour video of CI thus far, well-done, Tour, for this episode is not only entertaining but also edifying given the rich history of the place.
Whew! It was windy during the trip to Corregidor?! The ferry ride must've been super rough! The discovery of your bag with religious things was funny! At least you had a safe trip! Hehe! But the lovebirds on the cliff was funnier though! Couldn't imagine the horror when they realized they were on the edge already! 😁😬 Thank you so much for watching, Simone! It was my pleasure creating these videos! It's an enjoyable experience for me, too! Take care always and God bless! 😃🇵🇭
Wow, thank you so much for the video and the tips on how to get there. Now I know where to bring my relatives from abroad when they visit the Philippines this year! 🙂
You're welcome, Jon! Yes, your relatives will surely enjoy Corregidor Island! It's worth it! 😃🇵🇭 For any inquiries or bookings, please contact CFI directly at corregidorisland.com.ph

Thank u for posting this. My sisters and I are planing a tour here soon. Nice to see what we're in for. Looking forward to seeing the place in person. I get emotional being reminded of how much destruction war has brought upon the previous generations. makes me feel more grateful to be living in this present time.
my dad was captured on Corregidor island when the Japanese landed on the island and took it. He was put on a Japanese transport to Japan, where he was a POW the entire war.
I work with a English man who's father was captured when Singapore fell. He says his father never talks about the war. I visited Corregidore as an eleven year old kid back in 1966. Historically in better condition than today. I'm still amazed I was there just twenty five years after the fall of Battan.
Lots of thanks 'Tour From Home TV'. I enjoy very much your video. I am interested in visiting the Corregidor and the whole Bataan Death March story. My father is one of the lucky survivor during the fall of Corregidor. Looking forward.
It was my pleasure, BMP! Thank you for watching and for dropping a comment! 😃 I'm glad he survived! I couldn't imagine what they went through during those times... Yes, please do visit Corregidor and experience the island firsthand. It's worth it! Thank you for the nice tour. As an avid history enthusiast, it was my dream to visit the Corregidor Island. Watching this make me remember my dream. I will visit soon. 😁
Thank you so much for sharing this awesome video, you did a great job! I watched the whole thing, I haven't been to Corregidor, wanna go visit someday! Again, thank you for sharing this video!👍👍👍
“I shall return” the famous words that Gen. Douglas McArthur Said that time, which until now Pilipino love it including my father, he is 95 years old now

Wow.. Super Ganda.. i've been there in younger years but not experienced That Huge Trip in Corregidor. WISH LIST❤ That Place is a Symbolic of Our Freedom and a Great Friendship to the United State of America.. So Much Great Historical Place in Our Beloved Philippines❤
This is one of the best up to date documentaries of Corregidor Island. I have watch this episode three times. I have traveled to the Philippines 8 times and never visited this place but always wanted to go there. To me this place is very sacred and haunted because of what took place on this island in WWII. I have dug up as much information about this island and the fighting in the Philippines in WWII. Most of the people that have fought and died there during WWII are my heroes! I need to go there one day and honor my heroes that gave up their lives so that I can be born free and not oppressed. Thank you for this tour.
Thank you for showing Corregidor Island on UA-cam in 2023.....3 years ago, I was planning a trip to Corregidor when I learned that it was closed because of the pandemic....
I appreciate your efforts in this video. William knows his history and presented it very well. I plan to see Corregidor as well as other WWII battle sites in the future.
I've been visited this Historical Corregidor Island way back 2000 for 2 times and i was travelled by boat for 45 mins from town of Ternate, Cavite. The Island that i can see pictures only in the book when i was still studying i been finally visited on. If i had a chance to come back and explore the island again it will be my pleasure. Thank you for sharing this vlog.
Yes, punta kayo dito soon! Iba yung experience pag nandito ka na. It's worth it! 😃 For Corregidor bookings and for your future reference, you may contact Corregidor Foundation Inc. directly at corregidorisland.com.ph/contact-us/ 👍👍
Thanks for showing this historic site. Perhaps next year after our annual company retreat, I'll go and visit it and maybe our US founders/partners will see it with me. Thanks for showing!
We were there with my friends years before the pandemic started, it is bustling with tourist booked via Sun Cruises now I noticed a sense of sadness. Upon disembarking on the boat, there are dozens of trams greeting you before, now with this video, I only see 2. Before you can booked a room in a Corregidor Inn and rent a bike and go explore, there was a even a ghost tour at night as I recall. On the Japanese of Peace Garden they have local vendors before now none. We ate our buffet lunch near the Old Lighthouse and there are souvenir shops back then. Though noticed that they drive beside the Pacific War Memorial up until the edge with that view which is new and really nice as before we would really walked on that long stretch starting on the statue of "Brothers in Arms". Hope whoever is in charge now continue this tour and for those who would like to see the tour see it now as you wont regret it.
Wow, from dozens of trams to just 2! 😟 Yes, I chatted with some employees here, and they confirmed your observations. Tourism here tanked, even up to this day. The hotel isn’t even open yet. 😟 He also mentioned that most of the tourist guides, drivers, and other staff here were fired or were left out due to the permanent closure of Sun Cruises Inc. I also got the chance to talk to a staff of Corregidor Foundation Inc., and she told me that they’re looking for a tourist organizer/company that could do what Sun Cruises Inc. has been doing for years. Right now, they haven’t found any, but I hope they find one soon! The locals, vendors, and tourist guides need their job back. 😃
we went there in 1990’s but there’s no tourist guide yet . We travel from Mariveles with a small boat a fisherman boat to go there. we swam and have a picnic there. there’s not too much people there before.
You're welcome, Reyguarin! Yes, punta kayo dito kasi iba talaga yung experience pag nandito ka na. 😃 For Corregidor bookings and for your future reference, you may contact Corregidor Foundation Inc. directly at corregidorisland.com.ph/contact-us/ 👍👍
Hindi ko makakalimutan yang corregidor island na yan. Nang Minsan na napasama ako sa tour at napili ako bilang isang representative ng aming baranggay youth. Since 1992 of May. Noong panahon na uso pa ang mga youth organization ng bawat baranggay. Marami akong natutunana sa island na yan, na nababasa ko lng sa libro. That's my best experience after 30 years, so historical at talagang naaalagaan ng mabuti ang bawat place. Ang gusto ko dyang place yong malapit sa light house kita ang Ganda ng buong paligid pati ang dagat. More po sa content nyo and God Bless..😊
Visited here back in 2005 when it was still Sun Cruises running the tours. Good to know it's being continued on by Prestige Tours after Sun closed down during the pandemic. Your day tour in 2023 is essentially the same as the one I took in 2005 with one notable exception -- it looks like you all took your lunch in one of the small huts near the Macarthur "I shall return" dock, while I ate mine at the main deck of the Corregidor Inn. Food was and is still basically the same menu although we got many more choices in desserts (fruit salad, pastries, cakes) plus we got serenaded from table to table by some local singers. And since andun na din kami inside Corregidor Inn, we got a chance to shop for souvenir items like Corregidor-designed T-shirts, caps, keychains, mugs & other novelty items. Longing to go back again on a day tour one of these days.
Thanks to you Sir Ive seen my dads hometown BARRIO SAN JOSE on the island once again after 19 yrs. From Start to finish na relive ko ung mga pinutahan ko before. Seems some structures are falling apart since i been there 😢, i dont remember seeing that new metal lighthouse, the buffet area is now open, before it was like an old pawid house. I miss the aviary there. Its not part of your tour i guess. Tnx Sir your the best!!!👍👍👍🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
did the tour guide mention yoiu that island is hunted , maramimg nagpaparamdam at nagpapakita diyan especially pg magdidilim n I'm from Bataan kaya alam ko 30 minutes lang yan from may place sana na mention para exciting ang tour nyo
This is a GREAT video! But one has to take the TOUR in PERSON -- to really enjoy the FULL experience. The use of English SUBTITLES would make the UA-cam video 100% more enjoyable.
been there wayback 2012 . after exploring Mt. Samat as a gift tour , we decided to explore Corregidor Island. It cost us 5000 pesos forbthe five of us to get there (we used a local bangka from Bataan to Corregidor). We arrived afterlunch and toured the island in a swift as we have to be on the boat before dark. You're right there's so much to explore and a day is not enough. so much has changed in the island as the gardens were not as lush as before or maybe we went there in a different month. also, in Malinta tunnel, there's the kuya wearing a guardia civil uniform who took us inside and explained everything that we know about the tunnel. We even joked if he often hears someone who asks for help while he's doing his duty guarding the place 😅. As Manong tourguide said, I shall return to that place again.🎉
Thanks for bringing back my special memory of Corregidor Island. We stayed there for 2 days last 2007, what an experience it was. I wish I could go back to Corregidor and stay for another night, this is one place in Pinas that I will always treasure.
I was just in early teens in 1968. We went with just another family. We left from the beach in banka boat. What a time that was. Believe me it didn’t look like this. I don’t know if later on they mention that you can’t use a compass on the island. There’s too much metal in the ground. We got to go swimming off one of the beaches. There had been a typhoon I think they said sometime before. My Dad was just walking along the edge of the water. And just stopped to pick up a small white rock. When he turned it over he saw it was a very small white Budda carving. We never found out exactly what it was. I just thought it might have been a good luck symbol from a Japanese soldier. It’s not much bigger than a quarter. Nothing was attached to it and no way of attaching it to anything. Do you have any tours of Clark.?
Always wanted to go to this tour. I live just across the waters in Cavite, Gen Trias so wonder if they have a tour here to take me there, 2.5 hrs from Manila is too long a ride for me. Great vid.
Hi! I don't know if there's a direct trip from Cavite to Corregidor though. But I think there's none. Aside from Manila, the only other trip that I know of is Mariveles, Bataan to Corregidor. But a trip from Cavite would've been better so Caviteños will have direct access to the island. We need the tourism back in Corregidor! 😃
Yung Corregidor Island pala ay parte na ng Cavite City pero malapit lang sa Bataan. Pero nakaproposed na daw yung bagong bridge na itatayo mula Cavite hanggang Bataan, at dadaan din ng Corregidor Island
Very interesting video, wish I could have understood the tour guide better. I have been to the Philippines and Manila but never had the opportunity to visit Corregidor.

Thanks!
Wow, thank you so much for the SUPER THANKS, bisayalagi! Much appreciated sir!
Sobrang ganda po ng Corrigidor Island, nkaka amaze akala ko maliit na isla lang xa, apaka lawak nya pla.

Prior to the pandemic in 2020, SUN CRUISES INC. used to handle all Corregidor-related tours. But on May 16, 2020, Sun Cruises Inc. permanently closed its doors. So with this, there were some changes in booking a trip to Corregidor.
1. All tours are now directly handled by Corregidor Foundation Inc. (CFI) -the sole facilitator of the island.
2. Overnight tours are suspended as the hotel in Corregidor is still closed.
3. Tours are not every day. There are no fixed dates. Tours may be canceled if there are not enough passengers.

3. They will ask you to pay for the full amount of ₱4,500 ($80) on their Landbank account.
4. Once you're paid, just wait for their reply with your booking confirmation and a photo of your official receipt.
5. No more extra charges throughout the tour, except for the terminal fee at MOA for ₱30.

Lord JESUS CHRIST PLS. LET ME SEE THIS ISLAND SOONER.

Ang mahal na 😅
Thanks for the nostalgia! I visited Corregidor Island in the early 2000's and it was an unforgettable and well organized tour. ❤ every minute of it!
You're welcome, Arkhamar71! Indeed! The organizer of the tour also did a great job here! Everything was smoot and stress-free. Every Filipino should visit this place at least once in their lifetime. The history, knowledge, and of course the experience is just priceless. 😃
Thank you for watching sir!
In
I had given a privileged to visit this historic island called Corregidor/the fortress way back in 2003 and it was one of the most emotional and exciting visit I'd ever had.
😮😮ttttttt😮trtt
Wow, thank you for his service! I hope his photo made it to the Memorial Museum! 😃🇵🇭
Salamat
@aristotlewee3024 yes pwede po.
Thank you so much for watching, Simone! It was my pleasure creating these videos! It's an enjoyable experience for me, too! Take care always and God bless! 😃🇵🇭

my dad was captured on Corregidor island when the Japanese landed on the island and took it.
I visited Corregidor way back 2003 and it was my most unforgettable tour ever

Hi Sir Marc, I' m just confused, is it in Bataan or in Cavite?
@@alaingallero6135 Corregidor Island is part of Cavite City
When I was a kid I thought Corregidor is part of our Province Bataan
Sir, Corregidor is part of Cavite though it is nearer to Mariveles, Bataan. It is under the jurisdiction of the City Government of Cavite.
Para di na kayo mag away away, ginawa nalang Manila tawag dyan haha at dapat sa Manila talaga yan historically
Thanks for this digital tour. It gives me an idea of where to travel near Manila.

You really should go see it, very much worth your time my friend 😊
Thank you for the information in the description box :)

CORRIGEDOR ISLAND AMAZING
PLACE In the PHILIPPINES❤
Yes, I chatted with some employees here, and they confirmed your observations. Tourism here tanked, even up to this day. The hotel isn’t even open yet. 😟
He also mentioned that most of the tourist guides, drivers, and other staff here were fired or were left out due to the permanent closure of Sun Cruises Inc.
Gusto ko bumalik dyan! gusto ko itry yung night tour nila
I want it, too!
Agree! Sana mas ma-promote pa yung Corregidor since history rich talaga dito. Right now ang konti pa ng tourists at hindi pa everyday. Sayang…
I tried it at night, and it was amazing and chilling :D
Thank you baka makapunta rin dito next time bakasyon

Thank you very much for this tour. It’s my first time to see how this island looks like. 😃
Nice 👍
Narating ko na yan dyan kami nag team-building ang empleyado ng Nestle phils
The artilleries turned into greenish blue just like the statue of liberty :O
I miss this place. Been there twice.
You're welcome, Andry! Thank you so much for watching! I appreciate the comments and for sharing your story and memories of the island. 😃🇵🇭
Very cool view 🙂
Considering that alot of tourist are coming to the Phils., the DOT should do sustainabke development on Corrigidor as the catalyst of Phil. history
did the tour guide mention yoiu that island is hunted , maramimg nagpaparamdam at nagpapakita diyan especially pg magdidilim n I'm from Bataan kaya alam ko 30 minutes lang yan from may place sana na mention para exciting ang tour nyo
Corrigedor is a historic preservation area (during WW II , other than Intramuros & San Miguel Area in Malacanang during S panish era
In one of the barracks I saw a military officer standing in open front
Thanks for bringing back my special memory of Corregidor Island. We stayed there for 2 days last 2007, what an experience it was. I wish I could go back to Corregidor and stay for another night, this is one place in Pinas that I will always treasure.
Oneday i can explore that place in God's perfect time.. Love historic places in our paradise Country.. God bless travellers and explorers.. Takecare.
Crying while watching. 💔🥲
Yung Corregidor Island pala ay parte na ng Cavite City pero malapit lang sa Bataan. Pero nakaproposed na daw yung bagong bridge na itatayo mula Cavite hanggang Bataan, at dadaan din ng Corregidor Island
The Malinta Tunnel is the most creepy spot in Corregidor. I went there in 2003, seems like it's way different now.
I did the walking tour around 10 years ago, the place is incredible 😊 unfortunately the Malinta Tunnel was closed when we were there though. :(
Very interesting video, wish I could have understood the tour guide better. I have been to the Philippines and Manila but never had the opportunity to visit Corregidor.
