Got a Hellcat osp a few months ago. Took it to the range for break-in, run 200 rounds of Magtech and 50 rounds of Armscor ammo. The range officer impressively told me that another firearm brand usually have misfires with Armscor. No misfires or malfunction with the Hellcat. Thanks Springfield from the Philippines.😊
I bought one as soon as I could find one. It's a fantastic weapon and I feel very confident with it.

Boston: State Police seeking to confiscate a stockpile of recently banned assault weapons & ammunition were ambushed by members of a right-wing extremist group. Springfield Armory has always been a forward thinking company and with Sig making the P365 it made Springfield push their development even more. I'm excited about it and it's great to see companies push each other to give us more options. Good job Springfield.

One thing I've noticed about all new Springfields is that they always include awesome sights out of the box. I want to meet the person who made that call to never forget that aspect in their new compact pistols and shake his hand. It is absolutely what makes the 911 stand out from the Sig P238 or the Colt Mustang. Hopefully I can save up some money when this comes out, would love to get my hands on it and do a review on the pistol.
As an XDM 9mm owner this is a damn dream come true! I cannot wait to get my hands on one of these!

I have a Springfield Range Officer 9mm and it's one of my favorite firearms. Reliable, accurate, easy to shoot. For concealed carry I use either my Glock 43 or my new Mossberg Mc1 with tritium sights, which I absolutely love. Problem with either of these is capacity of only 6 or 7 rounds. I definitely want to take a look at this one, especially because I love and Trust Springfield Armory. They truly make an outstanding firearm.
My 911 and my XDE are my current carry choices. So yes, I'm sold Springfield Armory. And yes, I'll definitely be adding a Hellcat to the mix.

I just bought this!! Perfect for CC. I'm replacing or perhaps adding to (lol) my carry weapon that had only 6+1.. VERY well made gun- they designed it with every feature needed.. Bravo!

@@davidjs74 Yes I do, thank you for asking. It quickly became my favorite in my collection. It's my daily carry weapon and conceals perfectly in a bellyband. They have several newer models with laser sights & other additions but I like just as it is. It's quite fun to shoot & remains tight & dependable after 3 years. I've recommended it to many people looking for a higher cap, easy to conceal weapon. I love LOVE the grip texture, it has ruined me for all the competition. I became a Springfield convert, bought a Mod 2 with red dot for my thigh carry and replaced my AR with the SA Saint. I know I sound like a SA employee LOL but I honestly became a huge fan of the brand after the Hellcat. If you're on the fence; you will really like it. CHEERS
I like my Hellcat in Plum Crazy Purple with 707HP and 650 lb.-ft. of Torque. But this is nice too. Hopefully FCA doesn’t get upset over the product name.

This has been my EDC for the last several months; it's a fantastic gun. I've put so much garbage ammo through it, and beat the shit out of it, just trying to get it to fail, and after at least a few thousand rounds so far, not a single malfunction. I'm no fanboy - I love plenty of guns, and what works for one person doesn't work for everyone. For me, I feel very confident with my Hellcat.
Can I ask you Thomas? What ammo should I be looking out for as quality ammo and what ammo should I be staying away from as trash ammo? I'm pretty new.

This is a fantastic gun, great setup. I've aquired two EDC EXCELLENCE.
I love the sights. To me that is the most important thing about a concealed carry weapon. You really need that advantage when using a subcompact. Really fast target acquisition. I just bought one recently, and I love how easily concealable this weapon is. Great job as always Springfield Armory!!! And I really love my 7.5 inch Saint Victor pistol so much that I hate shooting it, because I don't want to get it dirty.😂
I am Glock a owner/user since late 1989. I am a female. I carried a Glock on my side from that moment until I retired in late 2012 and even now as a civilian. I initially wanted a 43X, but I think the grip may be too long/high for me to conceal. I currently carry a G43, but I would like more capacity. So, I stumbled onto the Hellcat videos and I really like the Hellcats features and what I have seen in the UA-cam videos so far. I like this Hellcat so much that I am going to put off buying a 43X and I'll watch and see how reliable this Hellcat is after a few months of people shooting it. I have high hopes! :)
This reminds me of my current EDC, an HK VP9SK. And I have some higher cap mags for it already, the trigger is nice, and I can make one ragged hole at 7-10 yards without breaking a sweat.

I got my Hellcat OSP today with over 200 rounds. I can’t wait to shoot it! It actually came with a speed loader which was a nice surprise. This thing feels amazing in my hands

Purchased my Springfield Armory XDM 9 mm in 2014... I never cleaned it for six months I shot over a thousand rounds through it ... never even oiled it !! Till this day I have never had a jam, never a malfunction ,and it is still operating like brand new ! And yes I clean it on a regular basis now

My compact carry gun is the G2 Taurus PT111 9 mm it also comes with a 12 +1 capacity magazine but is compatible with the p226 15rnd mag's and they run fine. Night sights added to help improve fast sights in low light.
My very first conceal carry pistol was the Taurus PT111 Pro I loved that thing so much.
@@zaccampa4055 can you tell me the comparison difference between the pro and the g2 is noticeable enough to give a person who's buying their first handgun and understanding of what compact and concealed carry is? I now own three and I use them as trainer handguns for people who are new to shooting or have smaller hands.

Oh gosh I haven’t seen that gun in years lol I know the pro had had a thumb safety instead of the trigger safety. The overall design is pretty similar. I had to replace the whole spring assembly because it literally punched through the front of the gun it was wild. Once I replaced the spring assembly I didn’t have any problems after that. I would recommend the G2 to a new shooter over the pro. I’m pretty sure the G2 is the next iteration of the pro but I could be wrong.
@@zaccampa4055 That's cool to know I didn't know that before yeah I haven't had any issues trigger-wise or spring issues with all three of the ones I have I would recommend a trigger job for a new shooter if they're not used to such the long slow draw pull on the Taurus PT111. What I really liked is how loud and audible the trigger reset was such a small take-up out of another reason I fell in love with first shooting it The snappy little gun but it does work.

Springfield please listen to me! Please make a “Hammered Hellcat” DA/SA Micro Compact that uses the 13round Hellcat Mags! I love my Springfield XDe but there is no other Springfield that I’m willing to buy unless you make a new DA/SA pistol. There would be several XDe owners that would buy a Hammered Hellcat and other people that prefer DA/SA pistols for carry would buy one too. Hopefully the trigger would not have that big forward curvature like the XDe and hopefully a little shorter reset.

I have an XDE, and it has two safeties. The slide safety and my primary safety... my finger.
Backstrap safety is the only reason I never bought an XD. Only safety needed is trigger safety, and using your brain. Train, practice, repeat.
With the right holster, with or without grip or other safeties, gun will not go off by itself!!!! Unless u pull the trigger. Some folks get shot because they forget to turn off that safeties in an armed robbery. Think about this before u buy guns with safeties.
Kel tec p11 had 12+1 in the same size gun in 1995.
The big boys like Ruger and Springfield don't bother to innovate, they wait for someone else to have a new concept then steal the idea... :-)
It took that long to get people to forget their gun is made of cheap plastic and that’s OK. KelTec would sell more guns if they actually could produce them in large enough quantities to not be perpetually sold out everywhere.
It may have held 12+1, but it was a craps shoot if it would fire 12+1.

No, it won't fit properly in an XDS holster. Several manufacturers will have Hellcat holsters rolling out this week.

Shipments will arrive at dealers next week but demand will be high so it may take some time to get one. If you'd like one soon I would suggest you ask your dealer to order one. Some online retailers are accepting orders already well below MSRP.
Not gonna lie, think I want one haha The one gripe about my P365 is that I feel I need to check my firing pin constantly, would be nice to not have that on my mind
Can you elaborate on this. I'm new to firearms
@@SneakyCaleb oh, the first version of the p365 had a bad batch of firing pins so it would break and fail to shoot. They fixed it. This was an old comment but after checking it so regularly my part is still fine today.
@@66racer I purchased a hellcat today. It's my first gun. Was it a bad choice ? I was really drawn to it for a few reasons. I got the one with a manual safety for reasons I won't get into. But it was important to me.
