My G2S came with 2 retainer pins (only 1 needed for the hammer pin). Also the 2 black trigger pins with the G2S have 3 grooves (1 on each side) so no easier orientation to install. There was no short steel slave pin to hold the trigger/disconnector assembly together while installing as with other Geissele models. The trigger performs well but this made the premium price feel like a waste.
Did you use the pins that came with the trigger or the pins that were already being used in the frame? Are the pins that come with the trigger plastic? I heard they were but mine hasn't been delivered yet. Thanks for the video
I can’t remember which for sure, I think I used the new pins that came with the trigger. They were close to identical to the stock PSA ones and the pins that came with the trigger most certainly weren’t plastic
Geissele triggers are excellent triggers. You need to use the pins that came with geissele triggers because they alot better quality than the pins that came in your gun.

Dude, cleaning and CLP will cure that charging handle nails on a chalkboard sound
Lol 😂 bugged me too. Sounds a lot better now
Hold the hammer in place, uncocked. Wiggle it around to align the pin so that you don't need pliers to pull the pin.

@@bradlock55 just installed this trigger on my new overpriced DDM4V7. Can't believe the difference. Thanks for the video.
@@Whitesp44 😂 They sure are sweet though. You’re welcome I’m glad to hear it’s a worthy upgrade 👌
@@bradlock55 inexpensive too. I didn't think it would be that good at that price point. Stay safe.

I wonder y they just do one retainer clip but it comes with 2?
If I had to guess it’s cause they’re easy enough to lose during install
Yeah, mine only used 1 retainer clip too. I have the spare in my parts box, just in case I lose the one.
Dude, when I finished installing my G2S trigger I seen the second detent, and thought to myself "fu#k" lol
I cursed for 30 minutes today working on the hammer pin. Still didn’t get it. Gave up
All because a gunsmith I paid to assemble my lower didn’t even use the hammer retaining pin. Had to get more from geissele
Sure ain’t easy
You just fast fwd past the entire install
Painful to watch...
