@@Unrealbr Thank you! 🙏 I met Jack Gardiner a few years ago and observed his fingers effortlessly gliding across the fretboard, like a spider 🕷️🕸️ It was incredibly inspiring, prompting me to work on keeping my fingers closer to the fretboard for faster and more efficient movement. I've had a lot of fun exploring different string pair shapes in the process which work so well 🔥🎸

My favs were the two fretless guys actually. Loved what Louis Barras did at 0:50, Karl Golden swept me away, enjoyed Juan Fenrnandos tapping composition, would bend my knee for Makai Schaefer, Juho Ranta had a relatively simple composition, which catches my ear and a lovely tone, liked the mellow melodic vibe Liam Stephenson brought to the table, was turned on by Luis Borges chromatic parts, M.O.I. had an interesting sounding scale and loved the fast up and down slides, Juani got me abducted by aliens, Kevin Frania at 8:05 reminded me of King James by Buckethead, Loved how Toth Balazs transitioned into tapping at 8:28, Will is strong with Will Stewart, got my batteries recharged from that energy

Juho Ranta-Maunus had a tasty solo. Aurelio Tarallo...was that a ring as a slide? That was awesome.
It's actually a local italian manufacturer that makes good slides and has a few of those ring models. It's pretty hard tò use compared to a regular slide, but lets you keep full finger mobility. Pretty neat. Not cheap thoug

Juani, Louis Barras and Juitar were my favorite this time.
All of these guitarists have amazing technical abilities, but the one that stood out to me was the one that sounded the most cohesive within the structure of a song, and that was Will Stewart (8:32).
While all were awesome, Juani is simply outstanding. If you’re truly after something unique, go for him! You just can’t go wrong with that 6:52

It felt more difficult to choose this time, there were more entries I really resonated with in this one. I'll give my vote to Juitar, I think their solo was the most fluent and eloquent, felt least like `I have insane chops` and most like `I have a beautiful story to tell'. But Juani's entry was also very much to my liking, as well as Joseph Wilson's and Leroy Chan's. Truly very very hard to narrow down such oodles of talent and skill. Fantastic players all around!
I am definitely getting listening fatigue but This one is all around very entertaining, full of amazing tone qualities, styles, techniques, tricks, originality and creative expression! I will listen to this again and comment my picks tomorrow.
That Ilya guy is asthonishing. Fretless is fucking hard, but dude's killing it.

I rarely make comments on UA-cam videos but both Juani @6:49 and Juitar @7:10 were incredible. Juitar was able to not only show off his insane shredding, but add in beautiful melody as well. I would love to listen to both of these solos as bands!

The techniques are wonderful the clean precise articulate playing is off the charts I'm from the old school back from the late 60s early 70s playing Zeppelin bands and rush and stuff like that but that stuff is so far behind me I don't even understand it and I won't even try to fake it I'll leave it up to you kids you guys are awesome thanks for keeping the Guitar Alive

after watching the video, I had to go back and rewatch Juani's section a few more times, all of the players are very, very good, but his part just stands out from the rest, excellent part!
Louis had excellent phrasing. Juitar sounded like that was an already established solo for this. Some solos are just fast shreds, some send chills up my spine.
My mouth got dry, because my jaw wouldn't stop dropping! Epic skills everybody!
The guy opening the vid is the old guitarist of obscura, and is the main reason why akroasis is their best album, he should be in the final collab, he really deserves that much
