Black just works with this car in every color. I am getting black wheels on my rapid blue when it arrives and I have black wheels on my current velocity yellow C7.
At first when I saw the C8 at the Dubai Motorshow I didn't like it at all, maybe because it had an olive color, but I have to admit that red looks cool!

Raymond Chandler: I ordered an Accelerate Yellow Z-51 with High Wing Spoiler and Adrinaline Red Interior, Red Calipers and Engine Cover. Lots of options, more than I thought I would choose but this will probably be my Last Corvette, Go Big, or Go Home. 👍🇺🇸 Not quite sure where, or what I will get for wheels, they will be Chrome, thinking about possibly 5 spoke 2000 C5, or C6 5 spoke Grand Sport Wheels. Not sure yet, I like M/T & American Racing wheels also. Still plenty of time before I get it, I am stuck on “GM’s #3000 Timeout” in Bowling Green. My C6 has Chrome C6 ZO6 Wheels, (only 2005 Corvette offered this color) Millennium Yellow with Red Calipers and I like the look. Corvette --> Born & Bred in the USA 🇺🇸

This older guy I'm 50 thinks you made a perfect choice but then again when I get my C8 I'm going all black with red accents red brake calipers and red stitching on the inside

@@DailyDownshift yes iam sure the used a smaller offset like a 38f and 49 rear which puts the wheels out about half inch out towards the fender. Iam building my own desighn trying to get the most lip and concave out of the wheel ill keep u posted

Right about the wheels, they look awesome, as does the roof and NON z51. Wrong about the older generation. We like the black and most of us don't like chrome. Don't stereotype people. Good video otherwise.
Im gonna be honest they look cheap Vossen forged wheel look so much better there wheels are staggered 20x9F 21x12R deep concave in there rear check them out trust me you'll understand my point of view look at the website there wheels are made 10 time better even your wheels in the vossen brands stands out so much better but to each his own just my opion

@@DailyDownshift I agree. Stock sizes are fine for me also. Right now for me, it comes down to MRR and Vossen. Morgan Crosbie of "Cars and Crosbie" in Ontario swears by Vossens and my local tuner does as well. But, I'm pretty sure they are much more expensive. These MRR wheels look good enough and I'm seriously leaning toward MRR because I can't justify the cash for Vossens. Looking at Morgan's C8 with Vossens and yours with MRR, I don't really see a huge difference in the quality of how they look. Anyway, I'll do my pricing homework and see. Thanks guys, I wouldn't have known of MRR if it wasn't for you guys.

Black looks great with this car I prefer gloss silver or gunmetal wheels I am just not a huge black wheel fan but it goes with this C8

I'm not entirely sure of the offset, but it's definitely not OEM offset. Sizing is all the same, 19x8.5 in the front and 20x11 in the back.

That's fine, everyone can have a different opinion. I've seen some UA-camrs put 21's on the rear and I personally dislike it quite a bit.

I agree forged Vossen look great but you can get forged MMR the same but double the price also. Look at the MMR NES-01 can get in a 9 and 12 width
