- Hey everyone, welcome back to Daily Downshift. Today we bring you footage of a Corvette C8 meet that we organized a few days ago. This was probably the largest Corvette C8 meet in Canada thus far and we are very happy with the turnout. We finally got to see so many different colors, different modifications and got to meet some great people. We are hoping to do an even bigger meet next time. We hope you enjoy!

Great video and selection of C8s. I have to say that those red pieces on the accelerate yellow car look awful. What was that person going for? Red seats ok, but spoiler and mirrors???

Wow! That white spec c8 is probably the best looking C8 i've seen yet!!!!! I didn't even think I likes the C8 in white!!! Nice speed race against the convertible... That was awesome. Man you are quick!

I normally can't stand orange, but that orange c8 just looks right
One time I was on the highway and I saw a Orange one driving! And it is like 5x as much louder than it is in video! It was insane!

My LB Red is also natural dipped interior but 3LT and so no black accents inside. I also have the clear top.

You guys are informed and willing to mingle on the post, so I'll ask you; Motor magazines say;'the C8 still uses the push-rod technology in the C8.' OK, what are the other choices in combustion engines like believe the exotics utilize? ...Oh, and Great vid, as usual! Thanks...
I believe they're referring to the more complex design of the dual overhead cam engines that various brands now use vs. the push rod's "older and simple" design.
goofydog2 In the Corvette C4 ZR1, Chevy went to Lotus to have a DOHC designed. Only problem: No one to make it.....so they ended up going to Mercury Marine and having the engines built. A most wonderful and truly groundbreaking breakthrough for Corvette. It was a beast for its time, and properly maintained, very strong and great longevity. You shd look it up....story is amazing.
Nice video. I finally saw it in person today. Very cool although the exhaust was very quiet. Hopefully Corsa will come out with something good soon

The hellcat was my dream car but... the C8 impressed me so much and i changed my mind, i plan on going to the Air Force in 2 years which is when i graduate, i hope i can at least afford to put an downpayment while i am in the service as long as chevy keeps the c8 coming

they all sound the same with exhaust/stock exhaust. It’s just louder, no significant sound difference

The worst part about this is no matter how cheap or how expensive you make this it will never have that super car sound like the Ferrari or lambo

Nope, they're already out! Our first shipment came a couple of weeks ago. They worked hard and made it happen!
I just got a c8 but my third vette since 2016 I have a 1Lt every body always downing the 1Ltbut I got what I can afford &I ❤️ Love it

@@DailyDownshift I think that's why it looks good because the C8 already has so much black trim on it. Not typically into white on cars but this is an exception.
How do you guys have sooooo many C8’s in your area that you can have a drive-in? I have only seen one in our area so far...I am still waiting for mine (got pushed to a 2021) crazy that you guys have sooo many!
We have a lot more actually, it was just too short notice. What area do you live in?

hAS anyone here buy a c8 I live in upstate NY put 2k deposit yesterday refundable to get on list I am first at dealer for 2022 zo6 corvette .This is one down side selling 10K over msrp for z06 I have seen you tube many c8 dealers selling over msrp and go look what people are asking in open market I saw one ask 160k
