For a man of his size (7.2 feet tall) and weight (about 280-300 pounds) and wearing heavy body armor (about 100 pounds including cybernetics and implants)... Darth Malgus was disgustingly fast.
@@dar-nakkallig yeah, but still... Bane was a little over 6' tall and wearing the Orbalisk armor and it wasn't that fast, he had to rely on force lighting and Form 5 Heavy/aggressive strikes to fend off his enemies. Vader (as Anakin) was insanely fast but after his defeat, he had to change his Form 5 Shien/Djem So, to protect his cybernetics from direct strikes.
I've actually been using this channel to help learn each of the lightsaber form from form 1 to form 2. It's helped out a ton especially in the jedi order I'm apart of on vrchat. Thank you
Hi Mike I am currently writing a two part Star Wars series with Luke Skywalker 17 years after Return of the Jedi in Legends and in my first book he has a duel with a new Sith Apprentice and then at the end of the first book his daughter ends up fighting this new apprentice and I was wondering if you know how to write out Lightsaber fights on Paper and if you might be interested in writing out a couple fights for me for this two part series. Darth Plaguies is actually the big bad of this two part series and I have an idea of how he survived and how he retains his original body but is left heavily scarred.
HI Mike! Would you recommend Kisabers for a LOT of heavy dueling? And if so, would you say to go with tri cree or standard? And keep up the amazing work. I love the videos, a friend and I have learned Ani vs. Obi Sections. It's awesome!
Thanks! and absolutely man they are great sabers! If you want that extra brightness for filming get the tricree. I prefer stunts for filming so they don’t flash.
You know what I like about reenactments? You can actually see the moves unlike the terrible camera shots in the originals. Where you can't see a dang thing.
We just gonna gloss over missing the entire first half of the fight just because it would require a movie grade stunt crew? Lol real talk great tutorial. My girlfriend and i just started your saber basics
love the videos! but malgus ending strike is wrong. its a spin moving inward towards the jedi with the right hand at the end of the hilt and left hand choking up on the guard of the hilt in reverse grip to drive the strike in ending in a planted wide horse stance with the legs. malgus doesn't need to move, because it is a counter, the jedi opened himself wide open and came towards maglus. ua-cam.com/video/iGDBTDnW7d0/v-deo.html watch it in slow motion speed. 0.5 pay attention to malgus hands and his body stance. he keeps his lightsaber hilt close to stomach. he doesn't have to extend the lightsaber any further out because the jedi is already close enough after maglus spins clover to him to drive the lightsaber into his stomach region. its looks like a japanese kengutsu counter just wanted to add those bits of detail. otherwise awesome videos man. keep it up, never stop! love em!
I would love to see more SWTOR lightsaber duals with you guys demonstrating.

Well... Force users are able to make themselves “disgustingly” fast

My favorite Sith Lord from SWTOR has always been Darth Malgus.
He's like the Brock Lesnar of Star Wars 😂

Just curious but is the Luke vs kylo fight going to be finished soon? Loved the tutorial btw!

As someone trying for this year's Saber Comp, thanks for this.
Do you have any recommendations on (safely) doing the jumping-spinning strike?
Start out doing it with a small and controlled jumps then progressively increase the power. It would help if you had a gym floor to practice.
Quick question and I havent gotten my answer what is ven zallow lightsaber form he was using since I though it maybe form 4 mixed with 7 and form 3
