Btw, iirc in the comics Starlight had to give head to ALL the guys in the Seven. Not just the Deep. Show took it easy on her lol the comic is edgy AF but the show does it FAR better and more efficiently. Top tier show
Fun fact: when they drew the comic books they made Hughie look like Simon Pegg intentionally so that if they ever got a series they could cast him to play the character. Unfortunately by the time the series was actually made Simon Pegg was too old to play Hughie himself so they cast him as his dad.

Btw the whole standing still and letting a car hit you has been done in Race To Witch Mountain, Hancock, Chronicle, and plenty of movies before Invincible or The Boys did it. Even Dragon Ball Z has done it in the movies haha

I recommend you guys to read the first 6 issues of the comics after watching Season 1. The comics is more messed up in some ways while the TV series is more messed up in others.
You guys are the first reactors to call The Boys the villains and I'm glad you picked up on that earlier. The Boys is a fucked up villain origin story. We are technically cheering for the villains since they are fighting the superheroes.
A lot of people make a big deal about Vought only giving Hughie $45k for Robin's death. In reality, they don't owe him ANYTHING. They weren't married or related, a bf/gf has no legal claims regarding anything whatsoever (which is a big part of why ppl are fighting in favor of gay marriage). He could could have sued for mental trauma and anguish, but unless she wrote it out in a will then he has no rights to her property or estate. That $45k they were giving him was just hush money, not "here's to make up for Robin's death" money.
Who cares what they're legally responsible for? Our legal system is trash. What matters is what they're morally responsible for and it's a fuckload more than 45K.

Vought is a multi-billion dollar company .... and one of their employees negligently caused the death of person .... and they come at you with 45K. 4.5M should be the starting parting point and even giving that much to make it go away is still insulting to the family and disrespectful to the victim. I mean they killed his girlfriend and then pissed on him. And thought they were being generous. That's how twisted this corporation is. Well, a small part as you'll find out later the worst is yet to come.
