I made a functional bow just with PVC pipes and EVA foam! Something I never made in 19 years of crafting was a working bow and I'm so excited Empires & Puzzles gave me finally the opportunity to do so! I used mainly rigid, non-plasticized PVC pipes, EVA foam and some LEDs. Plus, I even made a magical light up arrow to complete the fantasy look! The bow moves and bends just as a real one, but I pre-bended it to limit the tension for additional safety. How do you like it? :)

Most people don't realize how versatile pvc really is. With a little creativity pvc is good for almost anything.

You should do it! :)
So glad back to longer vids off you making a prop

Always satisfying to watch two masters at the craft! the arrow is so cool!
You are such a great artist, you and your husband Benny. You both are the first people I get to see explaining how to create such amazing and intrincate pieces of art. Thank you!

@@KamuiCosplay you ARE haha now we need to give you a cool name, Miss K? Wait what's Kamui anyway lol.
Or we can call you Mrs. S 😅
I'm looking forward to seeing the whole cosplay and the progress! 🤗
I'll need to make an Elven bow eventually. This will be super helpful!!!
😊
This turned out so cool! I've never seen a functional cosplay bow before, although that may be because they're not allowed inside most convention centers.
Yeah don't bring this to a con x-)
yesss the long videos are back!
They were never gone! I just post a lot of shorts in between haha
100% Professional!
You guys are so fun and cool!!!

A little dollop of UA-cam happiness! Thanks guys! P.s. Double check the link to the game, it didn't work for me?
I'll double check! Thanks!
Corgi! 😁 Love the Channel. One day I'll commit to making a full costume... one day. :)
TODAY should be that day! xD
OMG mega gut 😍 wenn sie da nicht sagen, dass du das ganze Outfit plus Flügel machen kannst, dann stimmt da was nicht. Richtig geil geworden! 😍🤩🎉
Making wings would be epic!
can use fiberglass sticks for driveways for safety and extra firing power
I also am a casual archer and I love the idea of a super glam bow and arrow like this 💗
OMGGGG big thanks for this video! bow turned out awesome :D
I love the magic arrow! I wanted to make one for my Athena cosplay, but I wasn't sure how to do it AT ALL back then. I'll have to revive Athena and make a magic bow using this as a guide. Great job on the weapon!
Your bow and arrow looks incredible! I always love it when artists of all kinds put a massive amount of time and effort into their crafts. In the end, those things will produce the best results. Thank you for the video! And thank you for helping me get through autistic burnout!
Awesome job. Both of you did such a great job on that bow. Also, that really cool arrow was a perfect addition. Thanks for sharing this with us.
This would be a dream, having an equallly creative spouse? YOU GUYS ARE SO KEWL 😎
Cool. Gotta make that arrow light up ftw.
It's beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us.
That arrow is EVERYTHING
I love so much your craft videos ! super motivating and relaxing
Haha thanks!
Very cool bow and arrow, Miss Svetlana. You and Benni do amazing work together. And congrats on your archery prowess. **grin** Thank you for sharing with us. And.... Corgi!
Brilliantly made! Love it

Looks great!
Especially the arrow turned out so cool!
you guys are terrific
Great job!
i dont know how you manage to build those things, but i think this channel should have more subscribers and be more famous
Awesome Bow, and the Arrow!!!
Thanks!
I could not stop thinking of Kid Icarus as soon as I saw the arrow lights
Haha true
You should collab with Bobby Duke! I can only imagien what kid of awesome working props you two would make together!
i love so much guys!! you are so fun together!! keep going!! you're AMAZING!
I can now identify Zelda from Midna! Zelda is darker with a "toasted" back.
Love these arrows so much!
OMG I would love to see how you make WINGS!!
Hey! Just wanted to let you know I bought two of your books for my nephew who wants to get in to Cosplay and fabrication :) I will also be showing him your videos very soon....
This is great! Super pretty bow!
Super awesome! I noticed ypu watches some videos by Nick. He's a great bowyer. Keep up the good work.
Why doesn't it surprise me that this even flexes correctly to allow for all kinds of photos?
Hehe
Very cool! It looks awesome!
Awesome 👏
Stiltbeast Studios has a video on making lightweight wings. The execution is a bit on the sloppy side, but the materials used are worth looking into.
This was so cool. Especially since I've been wanting to make a cosplay that has a bow with it for awhile.
This was super awesome! Awesome in general to see you two make a functional cosplay bow but also I have been playing Empires & Puzzles for years ever since my husband got me hooked and I have never seen a cosplay or anything from the game, so it was actually really exiting when you mentioned that they sponsored this video and what character you were making ^__^
corgi squad!
Your bow and arrow is awesome!
Already playing
Keine schlechte Wahl, Svetlana
Edit:
As shown at around 12:30 the bow could be used in a more close ranged style where you switch between shooting and swinging the bow against enemies
Cool demonstration! 😂👌
A melhor Cosmaker!
Вы - такая молодец!
Awesome. Bow and arrow
About taping off painted areas for air brushing. In nail art to keep nail polish off the cuticle people paint liquid latex on the skin then peel it off.
I don't know how liquid latex would effect flexbond or paint but maybe something similar might be a easier alternative to little pieces of tape following a curve?
Great video! 👍
There is actually flexible masking tape but we were out xD
@@KamuiCosplay A tool for every problem! Nice!
love your work =)
Corgi!
This bow and arrow turned out so cool! I think you could make some amazing wings. Maybe articulated?
That's the plan if we end up making the whole costume :)
@@KamuiCosplay I can't wait!
Great job! But I highly recommend adding resistors in series with each LED in future projects. That'll even the light intensity between all LEDs in parallel and make the circuit much more durable. The present circuit counts on a relatively high internal resistance of the battery.
Nice well done
WOW!!!
классный лук получился 😻 Было интересно, спасибо! 👍😊👍
That's awesome! You should add a bowstring made with LED filament :)
That would be fun!
I'm so excited to see the wings! Do you have any ideas on how your are gonna make them?
Magnifique merci
Hi, you guys are the best, I'm your big fan, I really like your work, and I wanted to know if you can do the neytiri arc of the Pandora avatar movie, greetings, I love you so much, keep it up,every day they surprise us
The walk of Shame 12:20 🤣🤣

i am a new subscriber i saw your videos and all the things you made was so awesome, i am trying to made a claw and it was very helpful guide love your work
👍
Sensacional parabéns super like ❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍
Two Videos in not even two weeks? You really are spoiling us.
Zwei Videos in nichtmal zwei Wochen? Du verwöhnst uns ja richtig.
Wie bekommt man es eigentlich hin, dass der Foam genau um die Röhre passt? Bin damit jedes Mal überfordert xD
Tolle Arbeit!
That's a hit.
Corgi!
Well done on making a functional bow! You are now on your way to go LARPing! :D
This build and video are fantastic, but nothing will beat Bobby Duke going out to a shooting range to test out his Genshin bow in full Ganyu cosplay.
This would be awesome if you're making some of the Terraria bows, like the eventide
Corgi squad!
Hi Svetlana. Loving your channel, you're inspiring me to get into including LEDs into costumes and other projects. I have a question about the solder joints. How do you protect them? I've just done my first LED project, giving my roller skates some cool under lighting controlled by an arduino with a slide switch but when I mount the lights on the skates (they are designed to be detachable) I often get breaks in the solder joints. Also this has happened while using them. Mostly they work great but so far there has been a lot of repairs. Any advice would be very welcome, Thank you.
