Absolutly agree about gel. I started with gel, changes occurs in less than 2 month. Constent level is the best for everything. Skin absorb it in 30’. No worry for anyone😉. I tried injections for 2 month and had some acnee plus feel sad and kind of depress. It’s a myth that with gel changes are slower. Nice to see you Ryan and enjoy the new appartement. When I started HRT I used gel, but I switched to injections after three months. I just find it easier to go to my doctor every three months than use the gel every day. It's different for everyone, but I prefer it that way. By the way, I just wanted to say the music is a little loud, it's a bit distracting.
Going to your doctor to be injected is much easier than what he had to go through (self injection). Im sure if getting injected by a professional was an option for him he would probably continue to take the injections.

I probably couldn't do that, but for me that wasn't even presented as an option. I could either use the gel every day or go to the doctor every three months. OGAesthetics there are some other options in germany, for example the t-shot every three months. It's called "Nebido" and it contains 1000 Milligramm of testosterone, so it's like a depot. It's very common in germany I think

It does take longer for the affects to be seen, approximately 2 months for my voice to start changing and 3 months for an increase of facial hair. However, I do recommend this option to anyone because of what Ryan said; your t levels remain consistent and you don't get as much acne as those on the shot, also needles are the worst. Ryan, your videos really helped me out when I realized I was trans.. unfortunately due to my current job I am not elegible for transition but hoping the policies change soon. Please keep on updating, please update how to put on the cream and more about taking t and top surgery, how’s your life after t. Just more videos. Love watching them, they keep me motivated even when I myself are unable to transition yet.
Enjoyed watching your update! I have been on testosterone for three years now and I’ve never taken a T shot bc of my fear of needles, etc. I’ve found the gel to be much more manageable in terms of mood regulation and the effects on T! Definitely be sure to take care of yourself properly when your bottle is almost empty. I tend to find that I get kind of blue and/or a bit anxious around that time. Glad you were able to self-advocate and get what you needed! :-)

Hey, great video, I have been on gel for 9 months now and feel my changes have been quite steady and I'm glad I started with gel so my body didn't have too much of a shock (with acne etc and balancing the chemicals out as I have a history of that) but I plan to switch to injections in the future so then I know the right amount of T is going in my body. So I'm basically gonna be doing in the other way around. Best of luck on the gel.

How long does the Gel last you with the pump? I never thought of doing Gel because I hear it’s so expensive.. but just checked GoodRx and $64! For one pump which isn’t bad at all. I know for some dudes use the box of packets it’s like $130 for a month supply. I’m a little over 2 years and the shots are painful now.. I’ll have some lumps from the T or even so sore when I walk it hurts now. I had a time that I was using a different size gauge needle and it was smooth.. but the 22gs hurt so damn bad lol. Last week I was pushing down hard yet the needle wasn’t going in! They even changed my dose to every 6 days versus 7. I’m definitely over shots.. especially on the days I prick more than one place in hopes the needle goes in. Once one spot doesn’t work out it adds to the anxiety cus more pain usually is involved 🤦🏽♂️
Oh I want too try gel. If u want u can show how u apply testosterone gel. Do u show your top sugery resoults? Maybe a little bit update? I really can't wait for more updates :D

Hi Ryan! I'm a Brazilian trans man and I'm using a hormone that ingestions are done every 12 weeks and I have felt pretty good. I do not know if this hormone is available in the United States the name of the drug is Nebido but I think it would be interesting for some people who do not feel well with injections.

I was on injections the oil that was in the Testosterone was cottonseed and I got a really bad allergic reaction. Now I’m on gel “andro gel” and I also got an allergy reaction. It’s been a week since a I’ve stopped the hormones I’m much better and my anxiety and all side affects are gone. I feel much better and at this point I don’t know what to do. 😩
I don’t like taking my sub q shots, the whole stabbing my skin all the way never really pleased me. Cause of it tho I’ve stunted my progression by missing weekly shots. I still want to be on shots so I can feel fully myself but I really like the idea of gel. Is there anyway you’ve heard of mixing the two? A low dose cream w a 1.25ml of T a week?

I'm going the opposite way, I'm doing away with the gels then I'm gonna go to the injections as I find taking testosterone topically to be such a faff every morning and would find doing it injectably to be a lot less hassle. I happen to be as society would class me to be a cisgender man who needs to take testosterone replacement therapy but I prefer not identify as cis cos it doesn't sound manly but instead I prefer to describe myself as a man who is happily registered as male from birth as that's what I am in reguards to my gender and masculine identity
what will happened if you stopped taking t's? if you have to do it does it mean yiu have to do it for a life time? is it a bit weird that a trans looked the ideal gender on the outside but still cant do anything to change the his/her sex part of preference (u knw what i mean). and last question can u do exercise to broaden your shoulder? im sorry for asking a lot but i just want to know cause im hella curious.you're handsome ❤

My sexuality is something that has been fluid so I just don't worry about it or pay much attention to it. What I do know is that I'm 100% attracted to women and that's all I have dated up to this point in my life aha
