It ended up in school for show and tell the day after we finished it. I hadn't even finished getting all the shots for the video, had to wait for it to come back to finish off!
This was my original plan, to make a channel through the centre with a Dremel to hide the wires through the body and up the neck. As seen in other projects, I've got no issues glueing and cutting bricks when required for a project, but John really wanted to avoid cutting into his Lego set, so we had to find another solution that he was happier with
He's been learning guitar for over a year, but only has an acoustic. I've got a feeling he might be needing a real electric guitar sometime soon, as he loves this Lego one
You are a great mom. That's not surprising, at all.
12:34 That's exactly how I feel about planning too, John!

Maybe the cables could also be hidden in an extra cable channel. I mean it's Lego so it should be easy to implement 😁

No, don't use a Dremel, just use different lego bricks to leave a channel :)
Very Cute
This is brilliant.
Are you going to Maker Central this year
Still need to sort of tickets and hotel, but we should be there on the Saturday :)
Are you planning on going this year?

I think we'll have trouble when he grows out of that top!
John's a great assistant. This looks like it was a fun project.
